Hi!

I'm 42 and I have an autoimmune disease (On-Set Still's Disease) it's

a type of arthritis. I have had 2 miscarriages and haven't been pregnant since.

I have done tests at Ovo fertility in Montreal. Test has shown I have low hormone

but nothing else. So we don't know if it's my eggs the issue or the autoimmune

disease? My Dr has brought up the topic of doing intralipid infusion therapy or

IVIG. I can't seem to find a Dr here in Montreal who does it.

I'm about to do donor egg IVF and want to know where I could get a Dr in Ontario

to do intralipids or IVIG.

Thanks!

Mary

newlife fertility does both I believe. they definitely do interlipids. their general philosophy is to be extremely progressive, especially with couples that have had a long history of failures. As long as there is no evidence of risk and promising evidence that something might help they will give it a shot.

best of luck.

My Dr in Montreal told me they don't do intralipids here yet. So this is why

I was asking to see a Dr in Ontario. Just read the other day that they do the

intralipids at Originelle. What a relief I am feeling right now.

As I said before my Dr at Ovo doesn't know if I have miscarriages due to my

eggs or my autoimmune disease. I'm happy that I can try the intralipids to see

if that can help me.

Would be nice to know if it has helped any of you?

Thanks!

Dr Michael at Astra Fertility does it too. Interesting that even in Ontario some clinics won't even consider it and others have been doing it for years. Best of luck!

Trio fertility has intralipids on their fee summary, so I assume they do it as well. They list intralipid infusion as $300.

Two IVFs and no chromosomally normal blasts to transfer...we are done with my eggs.
