Hi everyone, 

 

I am doing an IUI with injectibles. I had about 7 mature follicles in the 17 - 19 range yesterday. My RE told me to trigger tonight and come for the IUI on Tuesday. I didn't take any meds to prevent ovulation.

 

I have been having crazy ovulation pains all day and am convinced that I am ovulating. Will this screw up the timing? I know that my natural surge may only make me ovulate one egg and the trigger will help the others, but I am worried that by Tuesday it ill be to late. 

 

NB we are dealing with male factor so having sex is not an option.

You could have just been tender from having extra follicles growing rather than one. 7 follicles of almost 2cm is pretty big and can cause some discomfort.
