Hello ladies! I saw there wasn't a thread here for these dates yet and figured I'd get one started! We just found out that our second FET was successful! I am over the moon (although also anxious as anything, until the first ultrasound) but I'm trying to just enjoy the moment as much as I can. I've never had a positive pregnancy test in the 5 years we've been trying. When the nurse called after my beta she didn't say "You're pregnant," she just started talking about how my beta numbers were a little low, but we'd tested a day early because of the August 1st holiday. I had to cut her off going, "Wait, you mean my numbers are ANYTHING? Are you saying I am pregnant?" (I think next time she should lead with that, but anyway).

My second beta came back at 365 and it's increasing the way they wanted! So things look good so far. I'm due April 7, 2017. I'd love to meet some more people who understand what it's like being pregnant after IF. <3 Looking forward to getting to know you over the next 8-9 months!

Hello laies. I am so glad to have found this group! My FET was July 21st and so far things have been going pretty well. 😊 My first beta showed 436 and 2 days later was 1086. Despite a small incident with bleeding I'm praying our little one is getting stronger every day 😇

Congrats Nicholexs4. Your beta numbers sound like solid numbers. I didn't experience bleeding but I do have cramps all day everyday since the transfer. Fingers are crossed that your little one is doing great!

Congratulations and welcome, Nicholexs4! Those beta numbers seem great to me! I hope your bean is doing well, too!

Ladies, is your clinic still monitoring your beta now? Mine said there was no need for any further blood tests, I know it sounds silly but I almost wish they'd do another one just to be sure.

I actually go in this morning for my second beta and then will go in one more time and they said if the numbers are good after the third time, then there's no need for anymore.

Victoria, ahh that's great! Your clinic does three I guess? Sometimes I wonder if my clinic is just lazy. ;) I think I'm just being a worrywart. Sometimes it's hard to believe this is really happening! I hope your beta goes well today, let us know!

Hello ladies, so glad to have found this group. I've never posted before but I am looking forward to sharing and going through this 8 month journey with you all. It is so encouging to know I'm not alone with feeling joy and anxious all in one with getting the news you're pregnant! We did our FET with day 3 embryos on July 14th. We transfered 2 8 celled grade 1 embies. I stare at the photo they gave us a dozen times a day I'm sure! We got a positive beta on July 25th of 230😀. Then it was 499 two days later and 1318 two days later. We are 5 weeks 4 days and Due April 3rd,2017. Eagerly awaiting the 6th week heartbeat ultrasound next week and nervous. Congrats everyone on your pregencies and looking forward to getting to know you all😃.

Hi Hope, and welcome! Congratulations on your pregnancy! It's so nice to meet you. You've definitely described my feelings, too. A mix of disbelief, elation and terror, haha. Waiting for the ultrasound seems really stressful, too. I hope it will go wonderfully for you, you'll have to keep us updated!

StarSapphire..thank you! My doc hasn't given me a specific due date yet, probably why it feels so odd to me still? Despite the absolute joy that things seem to be going as they should, it's almost as if it hasn't sank in yet. My first U/S is the week of August 22nd. But based off the calculator my estimated due date is April 8, 2017. 😊 Are any of you ladies still having to do the progesterone shots and estrogen pills? The nurse said I would probably be taking everything as a precaution until my 8th week. I don't mind the pills but I am so over the shots..😣

Hey Nichole. If the calculation is right, your due date is the day before me! :)
I'm still doing the estrogen and progesterone. They said the injections will keep going until I'm 12 weeks along. So I have a long way to go. They are horrible. My rear can't handle it anymore. I'm also on estradiol patches, change out 4 every 72 hours and 2mg estradiol pills twice a day. The patches make me super itchy so my doctor said I could just take the pills 3 times a day and not do the patches anymore. How many mg of estradiol pills are you taking?

12 weeks..my goodness! Fingers crossed that isn't the case. Not only does it hurt but these meds are so pricey..and I'm on 2 MG of estradiol 3 times a day.

Victoria826 that's is a great beta number!

I'm doing estrogen pills 3 times a day 2 mg and the wonderful PIO shots twice a day. I had forgotten how knotty my bum got from our FET 4 years ago with our son. 😉. So worth all of it in the end but at the time😳.

Has anyone continued to have your estrogen or progression levels checked? I did three times and it went from 88 to 109 to 81. Is it normal for it to go up and down like that? I thought it was suppose to keep going up.

Nichole I feel the same way.... I am having a hard time believing this is really happening even though things seem to be going in the right direction. I feel I should be doing the dance of joy but instead I am eagerly wishing each day away to get to the next and just holding my breath to see a heartbeat or two on the first ultrasound! I guess after travelling through such a journey to get to this point it's normol to feel this way. At least that is what I am telling myself because I feel so guilty for not being more overjoyed. Which I am of course. ☺️

The meds are very pricey. Especially my estradiol patches. They are starting to consider it as a maintenance medicine and it's just a big mess with my insurance.
