I am 9 days into my TWW and have been testing since 7dp. Every test has come out negative. I have been told i have tested too early but from what i see on line everyone who tests around 9 days at least has a little bit of a line. Am out out this cycle. Does anyone have any experience with getting a late positive. I do not go for my Beta until July 26th. I feel like stopping the progesterone now. Any advice encouragement would be great as this is my first cycle. We put two perfect day 3 embryo's in and i just cant believe none took.

I'm a beliver in "It ain't over 'til it's over" so I would not count you out just yet, and although things might not look promising at this point, I would certainly not stop meds. If things did indeed did turn out negative, I'd always wonder if maybe it might have worked if I'd stayed on. Of course, we're all different as to what makes up our path of least regret smile.png.

Fingers crossed things turn your way!

I did the same thing and tested on day 9 as well.

For me it ended up negative but you never know, lots of people say that they tested negative up until beta.

This has never been my experience but its true, it ain't over until you do the beta.

I call it the "down but not out" phase. Although it never happened to me, you typically see it happening to someone in each cycle group.

I didn't get a positive on an HPT until 9dp5dt. My levels started out really low, which is why it wasn't showing up. I'm now 7 weeks pregnant.

Thanks ladies. I am trying to stay positive. I called my clinic they said that i can test on 12 days post transfer but anything before that may show as negative and be false. i have a slight pain on my left side down there it's been like that for days not sure if it's the progesterone but i am really noticing it today.

This TWW is killer, this process has affected me way more mentally than I expected. I have promised myself not to test again till beta on Tuesday. I think hubby will freak out if he catches me waking up at 5 am to go pee on a stick one more time.

I had a late positive at 12 days post transfer, so don't stop your meds yet!

Hi Journey - don't lose hope until your beta! My first beta with this cycle read only 26 but continued doubling and I am scheduled for my c tomorrow on my due date. At 9 days post 5 day transfer my beta would have been too low to pick up on a HPT as typically they are only sensitive to HCG levels at a 10. I know late implanters seem almost like an urban legend in the ivf world but it can happen. Please don't give up yet!

I just went for beta this morning and have been spotting since 11dp3dt. I think my first cycle was a bust.
