I did the same protocol as you Forever Waiting except i was also on Repronex. My first cycle i started Gonal F Cd 2. then CD 6 started Cetrotide and Repronex well my follicles never grew right My right side got big my left side stayed small. so they cancelled the cycle. My next cycle they started the Repronex and Gonal F on CD 2 and things went much better. I got 26 follicles at retrieval. Im 4dp5dt now. Good Luck to you

It seems like they're growing at the same rate, they're just not growing fast enough. I'm hoping the extra three days will help before they start me on cetrotide, but if it doesn't I don't know if they'll continue the cycle. I've heard a heat pad will help with growth, figure I might as well give it a shot.

I am a bit on the heavier side, and have been injecting in my stomach, is it possible my ovaries aren't getting the proper dose because of the extra fat cells? Would injecting into the top of my thigh be a better spot?

Forever waitng they say not to put a heating pad on your ovaries during stimulation i would check with your RE before doing that. The heat could harm your growing follicles or possibly kill them. Ive done 3 IVFs  and i have a 2 yr old from my last IVF. Heating pads are not recommended until after retrieval. Hopefully you can find something else that will help 

Also im bigger too i weigh 230lbs and my stims worked fine but trust me i asked the same question my first IVF

5 day post fresh embryo transfer. Day 7,8,9 BFP! Beta is tomorrow at 1130AM. Am I getting too excited? I've only trying to get pregnant for the past 20 years..

Congrats Mommy2B3 when did u get your first Positive I just did a FRER like 5 min ago Today im 5dp5dt and it was Neg but the embryo was only a grade 2 embryo. Fresh like yours im hoping cause the embryo was only a grade 2 maybe its taking longer to get a positive cause its wasnt a blastocyst yet.

Forever Waiting- follow the advice of the docs. I had the same thing more or less this cycle. My R side was the workhorse and they thought my L side might make a few that would mature in time but they were going to concentrate on the side with more follicles, and they were all consistent in size too.

 

As for me, retrieval this morning was good! 26 retrieved, 24 mature. I am not fertilizing them at this time so they are all in egg form waiting for me, when I decide what to do with them. If I use them in the future for myself, give them to someone else to have a baby, or donate them for research of some sort. I'm pretty proud of myself today. Im also trying to decide if I should come "out" and start being an ambassador for freezing your eggs as a young-ish professional woman. My RE kind of suggested it.

Hi ladies

My retrieval has been booked for Wednesday...I'm not feeling any anxiety for that, just for the first lab call telling me how many - if any at all - fertilized. As of this morning, it's looking like they might get six or seven out of me - which is just how things were during my first IVF cycle (and of the seven retrieved, only one fertilized).

I was hoping for a few extras this time, but hey, I suppose it only takes one, right?

Thanks babycompletesme, I've stopped that right away. Sticking to eating tons of protein, having whole milk and drinking as much water as I can! I go in for my Day 8 u/s and b/w tomorrow morning. Hoping it's better news!

Just got back from this morning's ultrasound. 14 on the left, 10 growing, 6 on the right, 3 growing. Leads are all over 1.0mm! Looks like the meds are working, even if its at an alarmingly slow rate. Back in on Thursday and I start my antagonist today.

Hello ladies,sorry ive been MIA since my transfer on the 19th.COngratulations Mommy2b3.
Forever waiting i think ur follicles are doing ok,good luck.
As for me,ive been having menstral cramps from same day of transfer till date. I even had it about 2days before transfer,please could this be due to the progesterone (crinone 8%)?
I tested today 5days post 5d transfer and had a faint positive. Not yet excided though bc i dont know if its still the trigger shot or its a positive. Plus the cramps getting me anxious. What do u think ladies,any one understands what could be going on?Thanks

Feel a mess. Today is 8dp5dt and yesterday i got a really light line and now today its Neg. Just happy i have 2 frozen embryos. Cause i did IVF in July then did IVF again in August as well as a fresh transfer i think im going to take a month break. Then transfer 1 of my frozen embryos. I have 2 frozen. So my plan is to transfer 1 in Oct and 1 in Jan .But i hope i wont need the Jan one. My 2 yr olds transfer was in Jan and i got preg 20 yrs ago in Jan so i think Jan is a lucky month for me. Thank you so much everyone for all the support. I have to wait  til Monday ( 14dp5dt) to do my beta.  But i think im out. 

 

Wish everyone transferring BFPs and anyone doing stims to get lots of great embies. Maybe il see some of you in the Oct group. Forever Waiting it looks like your follicles are growing perfectly. Good Luck with everything

Babycompletesme, hold on,u cant be too sure u r out. Keep the faith and wait for ur beta not until then,keep hope alive.
Tested again this morning 6dp5dt and its positive. The line is more visible than that of yesterday but i have tingling crams,not intense though.Any one had crams and had bfp + healthy baby? Im getting anxious,wish me luck.

Mom to be, I did had cramps starting on 5/6 day after transfer on my first cycle, plus sored boobs and my son is a result of that cycle. I remember I was pretty sure my period was coming, but it didn't... Good luck and big hug

I am now 12 days post 5 day transfer had transfer on the 12 did hpt on 7,8,9 all tested positive went in for blood work 10 days post transfer and my beta was 364.. woo hoooo don't give up hope... I will feel better once I get outta the danger zone... the last time I got pregnant I was 27, had a MC, then I got pregnant a few months after that and I had an ectopic, all natural pregnancy, this is my very first IVF.. I have waited for this day for 21 years I am 48 and this is my first pregnancy, so I guess this is why I am so nervous. But so very thankful!!! I can't wait to hold my little one in my arms.. my next beta is on the first of September. I took the first clear blue, it said 1-2 weeks, on the 19th today aug 24 took another it said 2-3 weeks so apparently my hcg levels are still climbing.

Maple leaf, i cramped from the day of transfer till now still but mild. They say the crinone is what assist in the cramps boobs really sore lo back sore and sometimes right shoulder would hurt, they say gallbladder so don't eat rich foods, also the bottom of my feet and heels feel like I've been running on river rocks, sore. Kinda like I was gonna get AFriday. Sending Baby dust to everyone..

Monny2be3 wow happy 4 u,thats a good beta. Your next beta is on same date with me. Sept 1 seem to be taking forever to come. I cant wait. Today 7dp5dt i POAS again and its positive. Im a POES freak,lol, started since 5dp5dt till date n hubby line is getting darker.
I think ive developed OHSS. My tummy is so bloated and hurts so badly. I look 5months pregnant. I had mild after retrieval which subsided before ET and now its back. Calling my clinic today,im in so much pain.

Mommy2b3 congratulations on your pregnancy, I am so happy for you!!! It's never to late. I know several people that had healthy babies at 50 and more. That is amazing. I never used crinone, I used ultrogestan that is the same as prometrium, and worked really well for me!! I am waiting for AF in September so I can start an FET cycle. This is a first for me. Momtobe I am sorry you feel that way...I think when you do get pregnant on fresh cycle the OHSS tends to get worse. Hope you feel better soon. Big hug
