Lua ~ I think I missed it last time but great u/s update! So glad to hear little bean is doing well.

WanttoBmommy ~ I felt super hungry for a few days last week but the last 3-4 days not feeling very hungry at all although today that feels like it's changing.  Congrats on the twins!  Woohoo!!

ReadyandWaiting ~ It's a never ending saga of 2ww's, hang in there! Good things are coming! :)

drgnfly ~ I hope you get some relief from the food aversions.  I don't feel hungry and can't force myself to eat but it would be awful to be hungry and not be able to stomach anything.

Welcome C-Ross!  I'm not sure why but you seem familiar to me.  Have you had previous FET's? Congrats on the happy little blob! So exciting!

Susie ~ great news about the hpt! Good luck tomorrow! Hoping you see a hb but as you know it may be too early.  Can't wait to hear all about it!

AFM ~ I've had a crazy few days doing the 16 hour drive back home from work for my days off.  The other night when I was packing I lifted my suitcase off the bed and felt a "pop" in my uterine area and thought for sure I'd done something bad.  For a couple days I convinced myself it was all over and I even lost any symptoms I had so I was panicking.  After much googling and talking myself down and a very supportive group of ladies in my FET group I've determined I probably stretched a ligament.  The sore boobs have returned (even if it is from progesterone, it's something) and I felt some stretching this morning so things must be progressing....right?

The other thing that happened is I was supposed to have my u/s at my clinic halfway between where I work and where I live but I'm facing a potential layoff from work so I decided to just come home and wait for the call to go back to work.  As a result, I had to transfer my u/s to a place near home and they could only get me in on the 6th so 2 more days wait for me.  I have an appt with my GP tomorrow though to get a referral to an OB so I'll ask for another beta and more importantly I want to make sure my progesterone levels are sufficient.  Does anyone know if you need more progesterone if you're carrying multiples? I've often wondered about that.

Good morning,

I had a 3 day transfer back in April 5. On April 18th, I had a positive beta of 123. I went in the two days later and had a beta of 219. Then a week laster I went in and my numbers went up to 1787. I am frantically nervous about my ultrasound coming up this coming Wednesday. Any words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated.

Try not to panick Sunshine spotting is so normal for us ivfer's. I have heard of ladies passing huge amounts of bright red blood and everything turns out ok. I'm a spotter also so I have really researched this. Try not to panic, I know easier said than done but this could be your "normal." If I were you I would let your clinic know and maybe they can fit you in for beta or ultrasound before your next scheduled one, as this should be seen as an emergency. Best of luck to you, I hope all turns out ok.

Good luck on your ultrasound Brown1984, the wait for the ultrasound is the worst one yet. Hang in there and I wish you all the best!

Thank you pcanoe for the reassurance and you're absolutely right about bleeding being normal however disconcerting. Thankfully it stopped after I passed a small piece of tissue (sorry tmi) and I saw my Dr today and she ordered a beta just to make sure things were headed in the right direction. It came back at 116643 which is sky high for 6w1d. I'm over the moon at such a great result and will be holding my breath until my u/s Friday.

Welcome Brown1984 Congrats on your bfp!  I think you will be fine, those are nice steady numbers.  Good luck for Wednesday and keep us posted.

Delhibelly when you had your US at 5wks did they see the fetal pole and yolk sac? I had my us early to see if gest sac was in the right location. They could only see a sac. I swear there was something tiny in the sac but us tech just said it was too early. Freaking out a little but know it can be normal and the sac measure correctly.

Hey Susie, I don't know to be honest I can email you a pic of you like? We saw the sac and ive never actually heard the words "fetal pole", mind you I've been avoiding Google and every baby site. Only come to this forum and that's it....It's too much unnecessary stress for me lol!

congratulations on all your bfps and ultrasounds :) I was in your place last year, just finding out we were pregnant and taking it all in. I'm now sitting here with my almost 5 month old (he was born on Dec. 8th). I wish all you ladies the best. Emoticons09710.gif

Me -27. DH-32
Me- PCOS- diagnosed when 14ishDH- 100% normal
Married 2009
Took a year "off" before TTC - ha ha hind sight is a wonderful thing!
Talked to the doctor about PCOS( as he was not the one who diagnosed me with it originally)-- wanted us to ttc naturally for a year before fertility treatments.

2011- 2012- sent to RFP for a consult. Suggested to go on clomid, went on clomid for numerous cycles. Nothing was happening, phoned to get on IVF waiting list, doc told me to stay on clomid because it was working for me, just might take a little more time. (He said this without ever monitoring me). Went back to family doctor and he suggested

VFC2013-- phone consult with VFC, decided to do IVF

August 2013- Severe OHSS, all embryos frozen- 10 in total
November- 2013- set to do first FET, estrace didn't make lining thick enough and also breast lump was found (benign, but still monitoring) so cycle was cancelled.

February 2014- FET #1- BFN
April 2014- FET #2- BFN
July 2014- FET#3- BFN.......

Mock cycle to do an ERA test and do another FET if ERA comes back good.
ERA test done on Nov. 13th- results came back Receptive- thats good news i guess.... still no answers as why the previous 3 FETS didnt work

December 2014-
FET#4- BFN
Wtf appointment- doctor thinks DH and I are too genetically similar and therefore my body rejects the embryo and the NK cells take over.

January 2015- immune testing- dh and I are a partial match meaning 1 out of 4 embryo will not implant and I have high NK cells. Trying another transfer. Gluten free 12 weeks, intralipids 10 days prior to ET, and also day of ET. Prednisone and estrace.
March 19- intralipid treatment
March 29- transferred 1 grade 17 embryo using assisted hatching and more intralipids

April 10th - BETA - BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In total shock!
Beta#1- 335
Beta# 2- April 13- 1250 We are officially pregnant :) Now to wait for our 7 week ultrasound! 7 week ultrasound went great- Baby was measuring 6w6d and a heartbeat of 140!!!! so cool to watch the little heartbeat!! EDD December 16th Lilypie Pregnancy tickers

albrooks - I've got major nausea.  I have yet to figure out any tricks that are helpful, that is for major nausea (like vomiting all day long, can't tolerate water/fluids or any food), but for milder nausea, don't go more than an hour between small meals, drink after something small to eat, stay away from greasy foods, crackers at bedside to eat before you even get out of bed, take your maternal vitamin before bed with food (or there's a maternal vitamin that is prescription two pill (one in morning, one at night, supposed to help nausea too) etc etc.  I've had major nausea all three pregnancies now, and there's nothing that works except for Diclectin.  Even then, it takes the edge off so I can eat (I'd say 75% of the time) but the rest of the time I am sleeping because of the pills.  This is by far the worst nausea I've ever had, 6 pills diclectin this time and only 4 pills previous pregnancies.  Maybe because I'm older now (35), my body isn't willing to cope like it used to.  I am miserable and snapping at DH and DD.  Not their fault, but unless I am horizontal, I feel weak and sick.

I wish you the best of luck!  Nausea is terrible!

Edit:  I just noticed you are in the US.  Diclectin may be called Diclegis there.  I've heard others use something called Zofran.  Diclectin is specific for pregnancy, a mix of antihistamine and vitamin B6 - it even has a little pink pregnant woman on the pill ;)

Hello all! I'm joining this thread with cautious optimism. I'm 33 (DH is 41) and its been a long 8 year journey for us to get to this point. I'm 6wks today from a single embryo FET back in April. Estimated due date Dec 28th. I've had 2 betas...first one was 261 and second a week later was 6492. Numbers looking good, but still getting really nervous for my first u/s on Monday. Don't really "feel" pregnant yet. Only symptoms seem to be constant peeing and a sore chest. Little brown spotting off and on that has freaked me out multiple times. I've tried to embrace the mantra that "I set my worries aside and let my body do its job", but it's a constant battle. Nice to find a group that truly understands the emotional, physical, and financial toll of all we've been through.

Wish you all the best of luck on your journeys and look forward to a Decmeber full of healthy, happy babies!

Anyone have almost no symptoms at 6w1d? Yes, my boobs are a bit tender (happens to me before AF anyway...) and I have waves of intense hunger, but really nothing else. The fatigue comes and goes.

I haven't had any spotting at all so I hope all is well. I feel like one day I totally feel pregnant and then the next day I don't feel pregnant at all. Maybe it's just too early? Any advice?

First ultrasound is next Friday at 7w2d.

Readyandwaiting - when I was at 6w my only symptom was sore boobs and 3am hunger, but other than that I totally did not feel pregnant at all. Just enjoy the fact that you are having an easy first couple months :)

albrooks - I've started getting nauseous every evening. The only thing that seems to help is eating carbs and never having an empty stomach. Hopefully you can find something that works for you.

Absimmmo - welcome and I hope this weekend goes by quickly for you.
IVF November 2015 - transferred 1 blast - resulted in bfn (8 frozen - 5d embryos)
FET March 2016 - first BFP but ended at 11weeks (ultrasound showed embryo stopped at 8w4d)
FET Oct 2016 - transferred 2 and BFP

ReadyandWaiting... I am right there with you! Even googled that exact same thing this morning. We should probably consider ourselves blessed (and may wish for it back later!), but I'd really like some kind of indicator. I have talked to a lot of people who haven't had symptoms until 8-9 weeks and went on to have healthy babies.

Welcome Absimmo! Best wishes for your u/s on Monday.

ReadyandWaiting ~ same boat here, no symptoms other than sore boobs and I would have thought with as high as my betas have been I'd have some nausea but nothing.  It may come later though and we might regret wishing for it. haha

AFM ~ My red bleeding went away thankfully but I've been having brown spotting more like discharge (sorry tmi) since then. I've googled it and it appears normal but I'm still worried.  U/S tomorrow so I'll know what's going on I guess. Super excited but nervous!

Same here no nausea symptoms and just barely tender boobs. I would say I am a little hungrier too but the only real symptom I can complain about is the acne on my chin. My my my its painful and so so gross to look at. I seriously have never broken out like this in my entire life. So I guess I can attribute that to the hormones? It is so unsightly.

Had my u/s this morning which showed one bean measuring a day or two ahead of 6w5d with a hb of 134.  I asked about a twin given the elevated beta's and she said she didn't see one but that didn't mean there wasn't one there and hiding.  I have another u/s in two weeks on May 19th.

No obvious reasons for bleeding/spotting so I'm putting it down to the Endometrin.  I'm super happy for a healthy bean and just praying it continues to grow.
