Hi, I just got my IUI done, my follicle size was 9mm, and after my bloodwork I was told my body is starting to ovulate itself so I took Ovidrel trigger shot. I took gonal f 50 units for 5 days starting CD3. Do you think I can get pregnant with 9mm follicle, I read and it says its too small. Started with Prometrium today. Any thoughts ladies..

Yes, my first ever IUI. After my ultrasound CD6, my doctor wanted to increase my Gonal F from 50units to 75units. But after my blood testthey called to say take ovidrel as my body is starting to ovulate itself. And IUI was next day. Hopefully I see a miracle.

Hope it works out for you! They made small changes in my med dose for this round to increase the number of viable follicles. Just hope I don't overstim:( I think the first round is really just an expensive experiment so see how you respond to meds!

I am on CD8, last day of letrozole today. I go back for blood and u/s on CD10 and move forward from there. I had brown spotting the last 2 days but the nurse says that is okay. I'm feeling crampy and bloated but I hear that's normal. I'm pretty nervous and trying not to get my hopes up too high but fingers are crossed.

I am doing my first cycle of IUI this month, with letrozole. Problem is MF, after two vasectomy reversals (1st on didn't work) he has sperm antibodies.

I am one day behind you CD7 with my third injection of Gonal f tonight and first U/S CD9. This is our second IUI for MF. I also had spotting in the beginning our first round but resolved by CD10.

I had my u/s and blood this morning. I have 3 good size follicles. I go back tomorrow CD11 for blood and u/s and to pick up my trigger shot. Dr. said IUI should be on Wednesday.
How did yours go Abrianna?
Sounds like a great report acg.
Mine went well! My right ovary has 1 at 18mm and 2 more just behind. Just one on left around 9mm. I go back for U/S Tues with plan to trigger that night for Thurs IUI. I started my cetrotide injections today which I hate as I get terrible injection site reactions.

I had my IUI on April 11. This is my second, 1st one failed. I have a 19mm follicle and one at about 11.
My lining was very thin though (same problem as the last IUI) at 5.1.
Anxious but hopeful!

Things didn't go that great today. Only one follicle up to size at 22mm 3 others 10-12.5mm. Lining was good but RE has no idea why the other ones didn't change in size at all when I should be a high responder. IUI is set for 14 with trigger tonight.

Abrianna, that totally frustrating but you still have one good size follicle so it's not a total bust. How did your tigger shot affect you? I felt totally out of it afterwards.
I go in this morning for my IUI. I am a little confused though because my at home OT says I'm still low. When we drop off "the boys" at 730 am I'm going to ask the nurse about it. I am supposed to go back in at 9:30 for IUI.

Thanks Abrianna and acg.
acg, I didn't feel anything after my trigger, which worried me since last time it gave me a migraine and cramping...
We went ahead and did the deed in the event that ovulated later than they thought I might.
This will def be the longest TWW ever! My blood test isn't until the 28, so even more than 2 weeks. Are you guys going to test at home before you BETA?

Hello ladies!
I am just starting my first IUI cycle and had a question for those who've done this before. I called in my day 1 Saturday to initiate my treatment cycle and assumed I would need to go in for a baseline ultrasound and blood work around day 3. Instead I was told I didn't need do that as I had those done back in February when I did my initial work-up. From what I've read online, it seems to be a common practice to do a baseline scan before starting stims to check for cysts. Did you all do a day 3 scan for your IUI cycles? My schedule as of now is to take 50IU of Gonal-F from today until Sunday and then go in Monday (CD10) for blood work and u/s. Any thoughts on this? I'm a bit nervous about doing 5 days of injections before monitoring starts. My AFC on day 5 in February was high with 18 on one ovary and 16 on the other. My RE said it was technically polycystic but I don't meet the other criteria for PCOS. I was told they would need to monitor me closely for overstimulation.
Good luck to everyone waiting and cycling!!

acg: definitely had terrible side effects this time from ovidrel trigger. I woke up so bloated this time and have no energy. Honestly felt like I was walking around in a fog all day.
Congrats on entering the lovely 2ww acg and fitgirl22. I did test at home with my last IUI but I actually started my af the day before beta and OFC wanted hpt result to confirm beta cancellation. Definitely wait till the trigger is out of system as false +ve sucks.
