Hello there

I was wondering if anyone has ever imported eggs from Europe. My clinic in Toronto said they would prep me & would accept shipment of frozen embryos from a fresh donour cycle abroad. But I was wondering if I could arrange a donour for a fresh cycle & have the eggs sent here to be fertilized & implanted. Even with shipping the cost is much less than ordering frozen from the states.

I was leaning towards the Ukraine as they are still anonymous - but you can see pictures & choose your donour.

Has anyone been there or attempted to import just eggs, not embryos?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

My clinic said that embryos freeze and thaw much better than eggs do so it is their preference to try to avoid shipping frozen eggs if possible. But they will do it. Not sure if that helps at all, and it was quite a few years ago that we discussed it. Best of luck in your journey
