Has anyone had muscle and joint aches after transfer. Worried it means what I suspected all along... this infertility is immunological...

My daughter has a nasty cough and is congested so it could be that I'm fighting that off. Or that my muscle are sore from underuse since I've been milking the bed rest this time -last time I didn't do a good job at resting. I hate the tww!

I'm in a 2ww and sore from not exercising. Transferred Wednesday and have only been doing walking since. Body feels weird from lack activity and the insomnia that started a couple of days after PIO. I think next week I'll return to exercise but keep it very light.

So excited for you Schlepp! When is your beta? I hope you keep feeling crappy for all the right reasons :)

Two IVFs and no chromosomally normal blasts to transfer...we are done with my eggs.

@returnable It is April 5 which is 14 days post transfer. I was just excited to get to this stage and fix my lining issue. But now the 2ww is kind of a mind game. My twin sister mentioned she always got very early positive HPTs. The equivalent of 5 days post transfer. I've started POAS and now feel like I can't stop. I think part of it is that when you can't try naturally, it seems exciting that there is even a 40% possibility I'm pregnant.

I hope your mock cycle goes well and you get to move forward quickly.

Schlepp I'll probably test tomorrow which will be 4dpt. I don't know why ...I know it will be too early.
Some light cramping has started over the past hour...I hope you see 2 lines tomorrow!

Schlepp - FX for you. I know it is a tough balance between being excited and positive but preparing yourself if it doesn't work. If we ever get to a transfer I swear I will pretend life is as normal and I don't test and try to forget about it...that's my plan, but I know I can very very easily start testing and then doing it daily.

Waiting4 - I guess your beta is April 6th? FX for you as well.

AFM we met with Dr. Perry at Trio who does the assessment for DEB USA for their assured plan. I did find out that I will have to do a repeat ultrasound and sono as mine is a year old during my next cycle, and then a mock cycle the following cycle. Luckily the assessment mock cycle is just an estrogen/progesterone so it is not a long cycle. By my calculations, as long as there are no hiccups with assessment we should know mid/end of May if we are accepted. If we are, and I do the long FET protocol, we are looking at a transfer early July at the earliest. As you all know I can make all the plans I want, but things usually have a way of working out a bit differently in the world of IF. So I am excited to be moving on, but realistic that things may not be on the timeline I hope.

@waiting4 - Same. I've got those cheap test strips bought off the internet and have just decided to indulge and do one each morning as I have enough to get to beta with. I had some light cramping yesterday so think that if implantation has happened it only just happened. Realistically I shouldn't be expecting anything until 9 days post based on what I've read.

@returnable - That is so true about plans. And life in general in many ways. Due to my work commitments it looks like if this round is negative we won't have a shot at another round until Oct/Nov. You need so much patience for this journey!

Schlepp and Waiting4- hang in there. it is still very early for both of you. i usually test around day 9.

Also wondering if anyone has requested their full medical file from TRIO to take for second opinions??  I'm considering doing that, to at least try to ease my mind a bit, but I don't really want TRIO to know. So wondering how to go about getting my files.

anyone been through it?

I'm with Dr. Cadesky and they have always emailed my results, or provided ones that I asked for. For example today I emailed them for bloodwork results DH had done last year and I received a copy in a couple of hours. Perhaps ask "could I get a copy of my file for my record"? Best of luck.

I got all of my test results, including the IVF cycle information and my partners bloodwork etc., for $35 I believe. I think it was supposed to be an $80 fee but we didn't actually ask for our files, just the results. I said we wanted it for our own paperwork.

If you want your file transferred to another clinic you can actually request that on the request form. I was very clear that I wanted my file for my own records.

@waiting4 - I have no idea. Probably not? You've likely got tons of estrogen and progesterone in your system at this point. Did you take the missed dose? I use this Round Health app to give me reminders constantly for what doses I take of what and when. Otherwise I would likely forget something.

Thanks. I'm going to download that app. This is the first time in 4 transfers including 2 Ivf's that I forgot to take meds. I take 2 estrace morning and night and take endometrium morning noon and night. I missed 2 estrace and an endometrium this morning. So I took my noon endometrium because I brought it to work with me. When I got home from work around 4:15 I took 1 estrace since I have to take 2 tonight and didn't want to take too many too close together. Ugh. But....I remembered to POAS this morning!

I imagine it varies with doctors, but if your 2nd beta shows that it doubled, did they put you on hcg? My last RE at previous prescribed hcg after my positive beta a few years ago so I'm wondering if this clinic does it too.

4 Years...I had a short lived BFP last year and a the time, I was told they release you around 8 weeks, or after 2 ultrasounds check out ok.  i was told to decide what OB or hospital you want and they send a referral over for you.
