So good to hear how everyone is doing!

Butterfly please keep us posted, we used donor sperm for our little bean and although like you it wasn't the path we originally expected we wouldn't change a thing about her!!!!

Jody-- I love how opposite your girls are!!! Soo funny!

Ola- glad to hear Sophie is well!!!!

Tomorrow Cayd will be 4 months!!! Crazy!! She has already been in daycare for a month and immediately got sick! RSV.... for about 2.5 weeks she was so congested and couldn't sleep.... she is finally feeling better and I'm so glad to see her back to her normal self!!! She is rolling over some and is just starting to use her exersaucer! I'm still pumping at work, although my supply has been decreasing a bit, I have started to use some of my frozen supply. Although a friend just told me about a Ben and jerry oat ice cream that helps production (oat of this swirled). I plan on trying it this weekend! Here's the link on the article if interested!

Glad to hear everyone is enjoying their precious babies!  I follow regularly but don't post.  I was accepted into a donor embryo program so that is the next step. I have been allotted 2 high grade Day 3 embryos so I am praying that they thaw beautifully and become my long awaited baby!  My FET is tentatively scheduled for April 17th so now I am just going through the steps and trying to stay sane!

Give those babies a hug for me!!

Good luck Butterfly! I really hope this is the cycle for you!

I can't believe my baby girl is 5 months old already! The time has flown by! No teeth for her yet. We keep thinking they are coming but nothing yet. She's become very interested in watching us eat. I think she thinks she's ready to eat too! Another month and we'll start solids.

Is anyone planning on trying for another baby? We want to but aren't sure when we'll start trying again. I had a C-Section so need to wait a bit yet but we're thinking we should start trying as soon as we can since it took so long the first time.

CJ
my husband and I have been talking about trying again. We also took 5 years plus to conceive so we are aware of the possible time demands. We were fortunate enough to have two high grade frozen embryos. We were originally thinking that we would go back this summer to try, but now we are concerned about the financial aspects of possibly having twins. Because of that I think we have decided to wait until next year so that we can enjoy our daughter now. We go back to the doctor next month to get her opinion as well but we are just so thankful to have our daughter that I think are willing to wait and to risk not having another child if that's what it comes down to. I know I don't have it in me to try as hard for a second. We would probably do an FET and be willing to go through one additional IVF cycle before calling it quits. I'm also already 35, so waiting obviously runs us the risk of not being successful. Hope this helps! When were you thinking about going back?

Good luck butterfly I have everything crossed for you!... and My news is i think we're cycling together again!

My gorgeous son will be just under 6months (so 6months since my c-section) when I start the Injections again. I can barely believe we're off on this crazy cycle again so soon, it wasn't how we had planned it, but our personal circumstances have changed and we realized it is a now or never situation for project sibling if we want to use the same donor.

I'm all checked out (no internal damage from the c-section) I've had 3 periods already... we're all go. I'm not sure if I'm more scared of this round not working or working and having two children under the age of two hahaha...

Egg retrieval will be some time the week of the 11th april... i'm so scared to even hope we could get this lucky twice in 18 months... DS is just the best thing that has ever happened to us, I'm hoping he will keep me happily distracted on our last ever attempt at IVF...

I hope you are all enjoying your beautiful babies and Butterfly, which cycle buddies group are you in?

DH - DX Azoospermia. 2 x Mtese (immature sperm found). Varicocele repair.

Me - no problems as far as tests have shown.

Orange, we plan on trying again as soon as we can after my C-Section. There seems to be some debate on how soon that can be. It took us almost 4 years to have our daughter. We had one IVF miscarriage then another failed IVF and 2 failed FET transfers. We had a spontaneous pregnancy the month after my last failed FET, which was my daughter. Our RE suggested we try on our own for at least 6 months to a year before thinking about fertility treatments again. I'm not sure what we'll do if we have trouble again. We have Unexplained Infertility so they could never find anything wrong, so never knew what to treat. I am willing to do another IVF but it didn't seem to help us before. Obviously I'm hoping to get lucky enough to have another spontaneous pregnancy before we have to start making further plans.

Blondie, good luck with your FET! Keep us posted with how things are going!

Blondie- so glad to hear you are doing well!!! Good luck with this new round.... please keep me posted!

CJ- I understand your frustration. We went through 2 IVF cycles with my husbands sperm, no luck. Then 6iui cycles with donor Sperm no luck and then 2 more IVF cycles with donor. With the last one being successful. 5 years of trying and failing, we even went to an adoption lawyer before a change in insurance happened that allowed us to do the 4th cycle,we were certain that was our path..... it sucked but I keep reminding myself that if project sibling doesn't happen it's all good.... I'm just sooo unbelievably thankful for my daughter. :)

Butterfly - wishing you so much luck with your fet!!!! I really want to hear that you have your own little baby to snuggle.....❤❤❤❤

CJ - I hope you can try sooner rather than later for project sibling:) I totally get the feeling of being so thankful for 1 baby but it sure is special to add a sibling to the family !!! Any idea yet when you'll be able to try again??

Blondie!!! Wow!!! I'm so excited for you that you are able to try again so soon!! I'm sure 2 under 2 would be super difficult but totally worth it :) My little sister got pregnant with number 2 when her first was about 7 months old or so. If anything, the transition was easier for her first since there wasn't quite as much awareness of what was happening :)
All the best in this cycle!!!!

I would love to try for number 3 but my hubby says he's done. We have 3 embryos frozen and I'm going to do my best to convince him to let me transfer them. We don't seem to make the beat embryos so I don't have a ton of faith in any of them giving us another baby, but I cannot destroy them and am no where near being able to donate them.....I hope hubby comes around....We had 5 embryos from our ivf cycle that gave us our first son, and none of them turned into a viable pregnancy....

Our little peanut is 6 months old already!!I can't believe time is flying so quickly. She's finally rolling from her tummy to her back fairly consistently and almost sitting on her own but has yet to roll from her back to her tummy lol. She will likely be a late crawler/walker but time will tell!!! She is such a little sweetie and so happy. She is a big mommas girl though....she definitely knows when a stranger picks her up. Also, if dad is watching her while I shower and she sees me after, she starts screaming till I come to her. Little turkey ;)
I'm planning on heading back to work in July when she's about 9 and a half months old. It's so early but financially it makes sense for hubs to take some parental leave due to top up. It was hard for me to agree to it but we need to keep our bills paid.....

It's so nice to hear from everyone and to hear about all your little babes ❤❤❤
See about me for details of our journey to become parents to 2 beautiful children

Ola, we want to start trying again pretty much right away. My GP said to wait 2 years but my OB just said to wait 18 months if I wanted to try a VBAC. I would love to try that but would gladly take a repeat C-Section if it meant we didn't have trouble again. I didn't have any complications during or after my section and have no pain so I think everything is healed pretty well. If Blondie got the green light I'm hoping that means I'm good to go too pretty soon. I haven't got AF back yet. I'm still exclusively breastfeeding and my daughter still wakes up a few times a night to eat. Hopefully when I start solids in a few weeks the night feedings will decrease and then AF will come back. We are so thankful for our daughter everyday but would love for her to have a sibling if possible.

My daughter has been doing great. She's rolling lots (only when she wants to though). She's become very interested in watching us eat so I think she ready for solids. I plan on starting at 6 months, which is a few weeks away yet.

Love hearing everyone's updates!

How did your cycle go Blondie?

How did your FET go Butterfly?

Thanks for asking C_J.  Sadly the FET with two beautiful embryos was a BFN.  I am devastated since they were perfectly normal embryos and they didn't implant where my abnormal embryos always did implant.  Thankfully the Dr was very reassuring that I WILL get pregnant so planning for a FET late June/early July...  I have 4 more beautiful embryos waiting so praying this time it works.

Hope motherhood is being good to you.

Happy Mothers Day to all.

I'm so sorry to hear that Butterfly. I was really hoping for you for this one. Take some time to take care of yourself now. That's so awesome that the Dr is confident that you will get pregnant. That probably eases some stress for you. Good luck for your next FET!
