Hey ladies. They rechecked the baby yesterday and it was still breech so we proceeded with the C-Section as they didn't want me to go over my due date with a breech baby. We had a little girl weighing 8lbs. We named her Kate Londyn. She has a good set of lungs and used them most of last night. Needless to say we are very tired today.

Congrats cj on your little girl kate. 8lbs, good size. Curious if they'll have her hips ultrasound due to the breech position. Apparently with breech babies the hip sockets may not form correctly... Wyatt has an apt to have his checked.

Hope all is well and your all able to get some sleep.

Jumping over from the March board. Wanted to know if anyone experienced this - I had my atanomy scan and it was confirmed a boy. But they found a small bleed 3cm by 1cm saying that the report states it can be a marginal placenta abdurption.
I'm 19w4d anyone know anything about this?
Dr said not to worry I will be monitored but if it gets bigger I can miscarry

Well I didn't need to be induced after all!

Little miss Kel.ly De.mi was born 8 days overdue after 15 hours of med-free labor that required forceps in the end as she was having heart decels. She was 6lbs14oz and 20.5 inches long. So we were off to a bit of a shaky start as I had some hemorrhaging too but she's making up for her dramatic entrance by being a breastfeeding champ and being pretty chill so far.

We just look at her and can't believe after this long journey, we finally have her in our arms.

Congrats Lily! Nice that you didn't have to be induced! How are you feeling?

Preciousmoments we aren't sure if they'll X-ray her hips or not. Her doctor in the hospital checked her hips both days and said she thought they were fine. When I got back home the midwife I was seeing said she it's standard that they X-ray all babies hips after they've been breech, especially in girls. I'm guessing she will end up getting it done.

Congrats cj!!! Love the spelling of londyn!!!

Lily congrats glad u didn't need to be induced

Sorry I have been out of the loop a bit.... our baby has finally arrived although I too can barely believe it! When she came out the nurse asked " what is it?" The doc said " it's a boy!!!! ..... no wait a girl!!!" I was a little confused but apparently he wasn't paying attention because he was focused on collecting cord blood! It was pretty funny... but our beautiful baby GIRL is here!!!

Congrats orange on the safe arrival of your little girl!

Miss K is 4 weeks old already today. Over the weekend, she started to give us 3-4 hour stretches of sleep during the night so we're feeling a little more fresh because of it. She's still been a pretty easy going little girl so far. Already starting to outgrow her newborn clothes. I'm finally feeling better in the post delivery recovery department. The pain is gone and I can move about without an discomfort.

My little girl was a month old on Thursday! She is not the most easy going baby. The first few weeks were hard with her crying pretty much every time she was awake. That's getting a bit better now. She also wants to be held all the time. We had a lot of visitors for the first 3 weeks and she basically got passed around from person to person. Now she doesn't want to sleep in her crib or playpen, even at night! Needless to say, we haven't had much sleep either!

My little one was 2 months old last week. She weighed 10 lbs 8 oz at her last check up. She's been sleeping 4-5 hour stretches during the night but she's a nap fighter during the day. Definitely a morning baby as she's full of smiles and giggles. If she's had a crappy nap day, watch out she's all sorts of cranky in the evening. We're gearing up for Christmas and I'm anxious to get it over with as it is incredibly overwhelming to juggle everything with a little baby.

I'm trying to take in and savor her being so little as I'm likely one and done, but can't help but want to get to where she's more interactive.

Hello and happy new year to all you lovely mama's! Hope you all have been doing well. I got a new phone so lost this link and frankly not much time in my day.

As of wyatt's 2mo checkup, he weighed 13lbs,24 inches long. Next apt is first of Feb......wonder what those numbers will be.

Couple of questions

Anyone started teething?

Milk supply? I feel mid day I start to run low and can't satisfy him.

How are your outings?
I'm having a hard time with outings. Wyatt hates his car seat, stroller and carrier! With the stroller, more often than not,I end up having to take him out and carry him while pushing the stroller and when walking the dog at the same time..... must be a sight to see! When we are out,I look around at all the other parents and their little ones seem so content in their stroller or carrier. Any advice? Oh,and forget the pacifier, only makes him more angry.

Otherwise,we are doing pretty good. It's all worth the lack of sleep and trying days. Hubby is awesome, has taken on dinner when he gets home from work since it's wyatt's hardest time of the day.

Guess who just woke from their first, only real nap. Signing off

Hi everyone!!! It's been awhile, maybe like me people aren't really here checking in anymore. I can't believe my girl is 3 months already!

Precious- I'm back at work :(... yay American maternity leave/ lack there of...and pumping but I will say when I pump I notice a mid day decline for sure! You could try pumping right after a feed to get some extra supply? That's the only suggestion I have... sadly I only get to nurse two or three times a day.

Hope everyone else is well!!!! So good to hear about everyone.

Butterfly- not sure if you're still reading these posts, but how are you? Have you gone back for more rounds? Hope you're okay! Sending good vibes!

NIce to hear everyone is doing well.  I often check in to see how everyone is doing.

Thanks for asking Orange.  Unfortunately my last attempt at my own baby, a mini stim IVF failed.  I am now looking into donor egg or donor embryos to complete my family.  Not where I thought I would be at the beginning of this journey but at least there is some hope.

Enjoy your precious little babies and give them a snuggle for me.

I'm so sorry about your last cycle ButterflyBaby. I hope everything turns out with the donor eggs or embryos.

No teething here yet. My girl is very drooly and has been since about 2 months old but no teeth are showing up yet. I'm hoping that stays away for another few months. She bites me now at times and it hurts. I can't imagine if she had teeth.

I think my milk production might be a little lower mid day too. She usually has a longer nap in the afternoon so my body might have compensated for that. I only pump occasionally when I want to go out, so I'm not really sure how much I produce.

We're dealing with her first cold right now. Poor thing can hardly breath through her nose, even though I spray it with saline regularly. I feel so bad for her, even though it's just a cold and I know it's good for her immunity. Hope it passes quickly!

Its been along time.  I do read all your messages, but its so hard to ever respond.

My LO has a TOOTH! She is only 4 months. My oldest daughter got a tooth at 10 months.  I wonder if all the drugs they gave us could be the reason. What do you think?

I went back to work 2 weeks ago, and happy I froze some milk!   However, we are now adding formula because, like some of you said, my production is very low!   I only nurse at night, and I am only pumping around 12 to 16 oz.  Could it be I DO NOT SLEEP?  JK.  We are in love with our daughter so not complaining.  Long days, short years.

The doctor told us to start introducing different foods every 3 days, he also said to introduce peanuts early.  Yesterday she ate Avocados.

Hope you are all well!

Good luck with all the ladies out there with little ones and ones still trying.  You are all in my thoughts

It's so good to hear from everyone! Beck, I can't believe you have to be back at work already.....I couldn't even imagine. Our little miss Sophie is growing like a weed and learning new things everyday it seems. She's a superstar at night, sleeping anywhere between 8 to 12 h I urge stretches. It means my milk supply has dropped off so I do think really bother pumping much anymore. The sleep is worth it though - I still make enough to keep her fed during the day :) The longer sleeps also means that aunt Flo has made an appearance already...ugh...but oh well. I still prefer the sleep;)
Sophie's grabbing everything and wiggling around on the floor. She starts with her feet at one end of the playmat and when I come back to check on her, she's facing the opposite direction and has wiggled totally off the playmat lol. She's not rolling yet but I'm sure it'll come soon enough.....
She's been battling a nasty tummy virus and has had diarhea for 13 days. Today is day 14 and I think she may be getting better. We haven't had a poop in 14 hours!!! Poor little peanut ...not to mention her poor Bum:(
Otherwise we're doing great and I'm just loving being a momma of 2. It gets hectic when I'm home alone with both of them but that doesn't happen too terribly often :)
I love hearing how everyone is doing and so happy to be sharing these first few months with you :)
Take care !!!!

Ola

So nice to hear updates on everyone's little ones!

Morrissey and Hennie just passed their 4 months, and what a roller coaster the last month has been. On New Year's Eve we were admitted to the hospital after Hennie had a high fever, what started as a UTI ended up getting into her bloodstream causing bacterial meningitis. We spent 22 days in the hospital, as if that wasn't hard and scary enough we only had a semi room so it was nearly impossible to have the twins both there, poor guy got his first cold and was shuffled around town almost daily to a different aunts house. Hennie battled like a champ, luckily the worry ended around day 3 and the rest was just so she could get her antibiotics administered. What a scare, we did see the silver lining that my husband and I were each able to spend a lot of one on one time with each baby, which we will never really get again. we are back home and happy to be back to our crazy twin life, even if it makes me want to pull my hair out sometimes!
I ended up giving up breastfeeding and pumping, my supply just never went up and it was causing me too much stress...so after some guilt and sadness, I realized it was the best choice for us, I have a lot more time with them and I get to sleep!
Other than that, just enjoying watching them grow and learn!!

TuesdayStewart - that is so scary! I'm glad everything turned out ok and that everyone's home now.

My twins are doing quite well. Blair is a calm baby, Lydia is a monster. She has learned to scream (not angry screaming....it's just how she "talks") and it is so annoying! Blair "talks" too but it's so calm and gentle. They are just over 5 months now, and have tripled their weights! They are eating "real" food now, and I have continued to breastfeed them both so far. They still get one bottle of formula each day (so I know they will take it for when I do want to quit) but unlike everyone else,(it seems) my milk just won't stop! I don't pump anymore in the hopes my production would decrease....but it's not working as I had hoped. Silly "problem" to have I know! Babies are rolling front to back, and are really close to back to front. I also think they are on the verge of sitting on their own. Lydia loves her exersaucer, Blair hates it. Blair loves her play mat, Lydia hates it. Lydia loves the jolly jumper, Blair hates it. They are two of the most opposite babies I've ever met!

ET Aug 2014 - 19 retreived, 6 made to 5 day blasts - sent to PGD Lab (freeze all)...4 blasts good to go!

November 2014 - 1st FET cycle...cancelled due to bad uterine lining

December 2014 - 2nd FET cycle....cancelled due to bad uterine lining

February 2015 - 3rd FET cycle...uterine lining got to 0.8mm...transferred 2 blasts...BFN

June 2015 - 4th FET cycle (only 1 blast left to transfer...one didn't make it through thaw).....we'll see...nope BFN

Oct 2015 - 31 retrieved, 8 made to 5 day blasts - sent to PGD Lab (freeze all)....6 blasts good to go!

Jan 2016 - 5th FET cycle...lining got to 6.5mm, not great, but Dr seemed confident...transferred 2 blasts...just waiting...finished waiting
