I had a consult with Dr G and I suppose he will be my "primary" Dr. The phone consult went well.

What was your experience while cycling?

I had Dr G for an ultrasound. I really liked him, he was funny. By the end we were all laughing. Thats good in my opinion. I havent had him beyond an US but I wouldnt mind him as my primary fs

I really like him, just a very kind and very compassionate guy with a good sense of humour, and I know Dr H thinks very highly of him both as a person and his skills.  He did my first retrieval, and when all 4 eggs ended up arrested on day 2, he called me himself totally in no hurry at all let me cry on the phone as long as I needed.  He also did my 1st FET and it was successful (until it wasn't, but he did his part)... I was pretty nervous because other than that first retrieval and a few ultrasound monitorings, Dr H had been with me through 4 stim cycles at that point so I was worried that he wouldn't be doing my transfer (he was away) but he reassured me that his and Dr G's pregnancy rates were exactly the same and that I was in good hands. When he's on for ultrasound monitorings he makes time to stay and chat if you have questions or want to discuss things, never makes it seem like he's in a hurry.

Me: 40 41 42 43 44 45, single, FSH 6, LH 2 (FSH not high, but exceeded 2:1 ratio), DOR (AFC 5-7, v.low AMH), all else normal/healthy.

After a difficult 6 year journey of everything going wrong, amazing baby boy born Dec 2018.  Donor sperm + DEB-USA donor eggs.  Detailed journey in 'about me'.

I think the world of Dr G! Anytime I've had appointments with him he's been great but I think the mark of how amazingly genuine he is came when I'd been admitted to VGH on bedrest. After a long shift there he popped in to say hello and make sure I was ok. At 7am he was a very pleasant surprise visitor. You're in safe, gentle, funny and professional hands. Good luck with your cycle.

I agree, Dr G is pretty awesome too. He did most of my scans, consoled me when I cried lol and did my transfer. He's a very positive person with great skill, never even noticed the catheter go in.
