Hello, 

 

I am wondering how long after did you wait to start trying to conceive again?

 

If you got a D&C or Misoprostol again, 

• How long did it take to get your first period after miscarrying?
• If you got had the misoprostol, how long did it take for you to miscarry?
• How long did you wait to get in for another IUI cycle or IVF cycle?
• Is there an increased risk of miscarriage, after having had one?

I am just trying to see what the next few months will entail and how soon we can start trying again with it being "safe".

While i miscarried naturally, my clinic had me wait until after the second period to start my FET cycle. I think it took a little over a month for AF to start, but my beta was only 500 or so when m/c happened.

I've had five losses, all different in how things went. Three of them were straight forward, no interventions. One I landed up at the hospital for help for pain control. I landed up with a uterine infection a few weeks later (this was an ivf loss). Our last loss was almost a year ago. I was 12.5 weeks and opted to use miso as we wanted to bury our child. It was an ok process although I did land up at the hospital at the end due to blood loss. As well I had a small amt of retained poc which meant I had to have a dnc.

With the first few we ttc'do again withing a month or two. Every time my af returned after four weeks. Our ivf loss we took about six months off to heal, with our late loss we took four months off, but with a plan to go overseas for treatment with DE. I am now over 30 weeks.
