Hi,

 

Because they have found that I'm MTHFR homozygous C667T and I've already had 5 miscarriages, recently at a very early stage, they decided to put me on Fragmin and asaphen after an iiu or an embryo transfert.

 

For many years, I have, each week or each other week, an acupuncture treatment to improve my fertility. I wonder if it's safe to have acupuncture treatment while I'm taking Fragmin. What precautions should I take ?

Hi there, I did weekly and biweekly acupuncture while taking Fragmin, but mine was low dose. I told my acupuncturist that I was on it and she was a bit more careful with putting the needles in since I was already prone to bruising even before taking the blood thinners and baby aspirin. I didnt personally have any issues with anything but check with your acupuncturist.

Hi Mountainchick !  Thank you for your reply ! I dont know if I have low dose. My prescription is Fragmin 5000 ui. Is it the same for you ?   Do they give Fragmin for a fertility problem or it's for an another issue?
