Welcome Jooksing - hoping your transfer goes well!

 

AFM - Going in for beta tomorrow. Going to fudge the date as no way I can wait until the 31st! I'm already 8dp5dt!.  Absolutely no symptoms...just spotting brown and pinky/red daily all day from 2dp5dt.  Anxious to move on tomorrow.


Me -29 31 - unexplained poor egg quality.  I was told I had endometriomas.....but repeat ultrasounds at other clinics have said no sign of endometriomas. Maybe PCOS-like ovaries, but no PCOS - AMH, AFC are great. No one can explain why my eggs are so poor sad.png

DH 30 - severe teratospermia, count and motility are excellent.  

 

May 2014 - 2.5mg femara - BFN (ovulated night before)

June 2014 - IUI with 5mg femara - BFN (ovulated night before)

August 2014 -  IVF with ICSI - Antagonist protocol, 150Bravelle, 75 menopur, stimmed 8 days

                      - 19 follicles (all 15-22mm at trigger), 12 eggs retrieved, 7 mature,, 5 fertilized with ICSI sad.png

                      - only 7 mature eggs with an estrogen of 20000?! wtf?! Sigh...Freeze All

                       -only one BB Blast made it. Freeze "all" became "freeze one".  All others arrested between day 3 and 4 sad.png

 

January 2015 - FET of lone embryo  - c'mon little figher

                      - BFP!!! Beta 1 475 at 10dp5dt , Beta 2 - 1495 at 12dp5dt

2010: IVF success! (Twins born at 36 weeks)

2013: Surprise pregnancy (Lost at 7 weeks)

2015: FET (U/S at 7 weeks showed only an empty sac)

 

Our family of four is now complete. We are moving on.

Well ladies we did a frer tonight (before my morning beta) because DH won't be home for our results - stark white bfn after a four hour hold. I'm devastated. I don't get it - I thought we pgs normał blasts chances were high and I feel so defeated.

3 pregnancis, no babies.

Moved to IVF with ICSI and PGS screening in Nov 4 - 4 normal blasts

I'm so sorry Cody :(. This has not been a good month overall for us jan FETers. I'm sure it's all the more devastating knowing the embryo was normal, so many unanswered questions :(. Sending you big hugs and strength. I'd still do a beta just to be sure. If the beta is low it won't show up on the stick.

Hoping, I'm so very sorry.

 

Cody, the girls are right.  If it's a low positive (as I had) it might not show up on the test depending on how sensitive it is (mine didn't, although it ended up ectopic).  I hope you get better news after your beta.  And if it is negative, I know women who had a negative on their first transfer of an euploid embryo but had success with later transfers.  It's so hard, but hang in there.

 

Congratulations to Praying and Yam for being PUPO.  

 

Watermelon, I think you're hilarious for fudging the test.  I can understand the sentiment of wanting to move on but I'm still hoping you are wrong.

 

Lebast, how did your transfer go?

 

AFM, still taking estrace.  Blood work tomorrow and if that's fine, start with the chalky progesterone and FET on Tuesday the 3rd.  So ready to get this show on the road!!!

ICSI #1 (freeze-all with PGS) - Sept. 2014

-28 eggs retrieved; 17 mature; 15 fertilized; 7 blastocysts sent for PGS

-PGS results = 2 normals, 2 'no signal', 3 abnormals

 

FET #1 (one euploid embryo) - Oct. 10, 2014 

Low Positive.  Turned out to be an Interstitial Ectopic Pregnancy.  Methotrexate administered at 7 weeks.

 

FET #2 (one euploid and one 'no signal') - Feb. 3, 2015

BFP!

Beta #1 at 9dp6dt = 361 thumbup.gif

Beta #2 at 11dp6dt = 1117

 

Viability Ultrasound March 5 = TWINS!  Both babies measuring on track with heart beats of 141 bpm.

 

First Trimester Screening April 6 = both babies measuring ahead, heart beats of 165 bpm and no genetic issues.  This crazy sh*t is getting real! :)

I am out.  Second beta was 12.7, after first of 17.  We are deeply heartbroken and completely devastated.  I don't really know where to go from here, i don't know what will be next for us. 

I wish you all the very, very best.  Congratulations to those of you who have had success this round, and to those of you still in the trenches...I wish you all of your dreams to come true.  This is a crazy road...

Hoping2b4 - Big hugs and sending you positive thoughts for the next steps.  Praying hard that the medical team will have the wisdom to give you the best advice and most suitable treatment.

Thanks ladies - I know it's negative though. With my chemical when beta was only 17 my FRER showed a faint line. I can't believe this happened with a PGS normal blast. I don't understand it. I had my beta this morning and am waiting for them to call and let me know I can stop my drugs. God I just thought this was it.

Cody - I second what Tabatha said. I'm so sorry and it's so devastating to fail with PGS normals. I've had 2 recently that have failed - apparently it happens more often than docs like to tell us it seems. Hoping my last euoploid works but I know it might not. You have 3 left which is great. The odds that at least one will work is extremely high.

Tabatha and idrmfgnee - have either of your feritlity doctor's spoken to you about what would cause a PGS normal blast to fail? I am thinking of asking for more tests - immune disorders and clotting issues to start...but I don't know if I'm jumping the gun?

All done and things went great! One 4bb blast transferred and one embryo still in the freezer!  i got some pretty bad cramping afterwards, but it seems to have subsided now.

Watermelon- There is no such things as real pregnancy symptoms that early (except implantation cramping). Anything you would feel this early in the game would be all related to the progesterone. I had NO pregnancy symptoms...almost ever & I was pg for 6 months. I did have a couple tired days around 7 weeks along but had no sore boobs, nausea...nothing the whole time! Lack of symptoms mean squat!!

For some reason I didnt see your msg before i sent mine, anyways, glad to hear it all went well!!! Woohooo on one embryo still in the freezer! Thats great news! I was cramping too afterwards and been feeling twinges here and there since. Hope you get to relax for the rest of the day. Take care :)

Well............against all odds...........BFP! Beta came back at 475 at 10dp5dt.  Never in a million years did I expect that.  First time ever! Goes to show you ladies that you can have ZERO symptoms, be bleeding right through you luteal phase and STILL have a successful transfer.

 

Good luck to those still waiting.  On to waiting anxiously for beta number 2....worrying never stops..
