Rivier2003 - good luck with the transfer!

Yesterday I had some spotting, brownish color.. I got really scared at first cause I was sure it was AF.. This morning got the same spotting but larger amount.. And just a few hours ago it was pink.. Now I am sure it is AF, today was the day AF had to come. I just feel so sad. I was really positive of all this. But, oh well, we froze 8 blastocyst so I guess I'll move on to my first FET!

Wish you all the best! 😘😘

ngautog - Don't lose hope...pink spotting is totally normal don't forget.

loo - I know exactly what you're going thru...those high numbers leave you so hopeful when you know if your heart that it isn't right. We are all here for you.

Congrats to those who got 2 lines! I"m just trying to catch up now after being away for a while.

I had my 2nd US on the 15th and still waiting for results. I go for transfer on the 23rd (rivier2003 - just before you!). Hoping both embies survive the slow thaw process. This process seems so long but when we are here, I question, 'how did I get here so fast?!'

Me -27. DH-32
Me- PCOS- diagnosed when 14ishDH- 100% normal
Married 2009
Took a year "off" before TTC - ha ha hind sight is a wonderful thing!
Talked to the doctor about PCOS( as he was not the one who diagnosed me with it originally)-- wanted us to ttc naturally for a year before fertility treatments.

2011- 2012- sent to RFP for a consult. Suggested to go on clomid, went on clomid for numerous cycles. Nothing was happening, phoned to get on IVF waiting list, doc told me to stay on clomid because it was working for me, just might take a little more time. (He said this without ever monitoring me). Went back to family doctor and he suggested

VFC2013-- phone consult with VFC, decided to do IVF

August 2013- Severe OHSS, all embryos frozen- 10 in total
November- 2013- set to do first FET, estrace didn't make lining thick enough and also breast lump was found (benign, but still monitoring) so cycle was cancelled.

February 2014- FET #1- BFN
April 2014- FET #2- BFN
July 2014- FET#3- BFN.......

Mock cycle to do an ERA test and do another FET if ERA comes back good.
ERA test done on Nov. 13th- results came back Receptive- thats good news i guess.... still no answers as why the previous 3 FETS didnt work

December 2014-
FET#4- BFN
Wtf appointment- doctor thinks DH and I are too genetically similar and therefore my body rejects the embryo and the NK cells take over.

January 2015- immune testing- dh and I are a partial match meaning 1 out of 4 embryo will not implant and I have high NK cells. Trying another transfer. Gluten free 12 weeks, intralipids 10 days prior to ET, and also day of ET. Prednisone and estrace.
March 19- intralipid treatment
March 29- transferred 1 grade 17 embryo using assisted hatching and more intralipids

April 10th - BETA - BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In total shock!
Beta#1- 335
Beta# 2- April 13- 1250 We are officially pregnant :) Now to wait for our 7 week ultrasound! 7 week ultrasound went great- Baby was measuring 6w6d and a heartbeat of 140!!!! so cool to watch the little heartbeat!! EDD December 16th Lilypie Pregnancy tickers

I went for my WTF appointment today. Doc said its probable that I do indeed to have an autoimmune disorder (likely lupus) and will add a steroid to my protocol next time. I am feeling good about this but also frustrated because I have been BEGGING for a steroid for the last approx 5-6 cycles and he has refused. Cant change the past and theres no use dwelling on it..... he has said that if the four remaining embryos dont work then I should call it quits since I am not open to using a surrogate. If thats the case I guess we'll discuss if we are done or if we will make the switch to Markham. I'm going to take the summer and focus on health & fun and then likely in August I'll do the D&C for a September transfer

Supermom-I'm glad your doctor is getting on board with you for your next cycles, good to hear.

Question-has anyone done reiki before?  I am going for a session the day before my transfer.  I thought it couldn't hurt anything to try it out!  Just wondering if anyone has done it, and if so, what were your results?

Hi ladies, sorry to crush in this post.

I had a 5-day frozen embryo transfer yesterday 17th at around 1:20pm. Right after the transfer, I felt so gassy. Then cramping from this morning (stopped after my breakfast), following by body sore, light headache, bit fever, feeling cold. Since I am allergic to doxycycline, Dr. didn't give me any antibiotics but only anti flammatory drug(Mendrol). Did someone have these symptoms? I wonder if I have infections or just got a cold yesterday?

Thank you so much for your input!

Thank you all for your support! I called my Dr. last night and confirmed the light fever wasn't from the transfer. And I have no more cold/fever symptoms anymore this morning. Phew! But start to think if the fever will let body start it's "defence" mode and reject every "outsider" including my dear embie well, we just can't worry less, can we?

Congras, Evia! So happy for you!
