My husband was diagnosed with non-obstructive azoo in 2010. His testicles are on the small to normal size (one urologist said normal the other said a tad small) and FSH is 28. He had a full genetic panal done and everthing was normal. Would a testicular injury when younger most likely be the cause of his azoo? His sister kicked him really bad between the the legs when he was 12 years and he was peeing blood.

I also have one more question....my husbands testicles during intercourse (in most posistions) go around the base of his penis and kind of up inside him. Afterwards he kind of just "pushes" them back down. Is this normal? And could it be tied to his azoospermia?

I don't know if what you described is normal or not...it could very well be. I know that testicles do tend to move around and become tighter and higher when aroused...is this what you are describing?

My husband also has non-obstructive azoo and there is no known cause. He has been through ALL the testing and there is no reason for the no sperm. I know that at some points, I badly wanted to know why and be able to pinpoint a reason (especially in the depth of my grief) but there just isn't one.

Good luck!

Thats how we feel. We want an answer....and no they actully leave the testicle sac and go up into him. I really have no idea how to explain it. You can see the lumps by the base of his penis. Its odd lol

I have no answers for that one...did you mention it to your doctor?

I hope you find some answers and are able to find some peace...it's such a tough road. Feel free to PM me if you have any private questions...we have been through it all. :)

I googled it and apparently they are called "retracting testicles" but should not lead to infertility...and thank you!
