You know you're infertile when....

1) you organize hpt and opk in order of expiration date;

2) you know your clinic success rates by memory; and

3) you get jealous of a pregnant dog.

We all have funny infertile moments in amongst the challenging times and failed cycles, etc.

Add yours...

You know you're infertile when the sight of a lab coat in an examination room makes you drop your pants and lay on your back for an internal examination.

You've taken a HPT after trigger just to finally see the 2 lines.

When someone asks you the date, you say "Day 18".

You've taken apart a HPT to check for another line/ taken one out of the trash hrs later to check for a line.

Found this online, some funny answers :)

You know you're infertile when

... getting your dog spayed causes you great anxiety and depression.

... the only birth control you've used over the last few years was the pill - and that was to help you get pregnant.

... you forget that for most people starting a family does not mean mortgaging their house.

You know you're infertile when you wake at the crack of dawn to sit in a doctors office with a dozen other women, like cattle being herded, while we are all poked and prodded.  You know you're really an IF vet when you finally start talking to the woman next to you while everyone else gasps at the breaking of the silence.

You know you're infertile when you're willing to jump on a boat, a plane or drive across international borders trying to get pregnant; and you proudly declare your embryos to the customs agent, who wishes you luck because he knows exactly who you are after all the 6am trips you've taken across the border.

... when during your RE appointment you talk comfortably in a weird "medical" language asking him about his view on "microflare protocol" "agonist/antagonist switch protocol", "estrogen priming", "IVIG", "uNKs", "antiphospholipid antibodies", "anticardiolipin antibodies"; "ANAs" and then you come out and your DH stares at you (as if you have two horns on your head) and confesses he didn't understand a word of your conversation with RE!

When you don't plan your vacation on your work schedule but guesstimate what CD it will be for you and whether you will need to sniff, inject or insert a medication at that time.

When "CD" is no longer something to listen to music on

When you browse the IF chat board as part of your morning and coffee news regimen.

Cycle history in "about me"

3rd transfer was a success!
Welcome to the world our precious miracle! Landen John Thomas arrived March 21, 2012 at 4:09am weighing 6lbs3ozs and measuring 20 inches. We couldn't be more in love with him. He was so worth the wait!

Suddenly we have a toddler and each day is more wondrous for all of us...time to try to make him a big brother!

Love this thread. Sitting in MFC ultrasound waiting room and laughing out loud as I will just introduce my hoohah to yet another person in a min.

...when the arrival of your period prompts one of only two possible responses:

a) immediate collapse into the fetal position, crying on the floor

or

B)  an actual shout for joy because you get to start meds again
