FMTB you already know! Whohooo! Will u take another test yourself? My test from the clinic is actually just a pee test, so I won't know much but that ok. I haven't had any symptoms except for the dull cramping on and off. Nothing else. I find that odd but I'll take it! I'm gonna poas tonmorow am just to make sure it's still there!

Thank you for setting this up Excited and I'll be joining you all the way from South Africa. The due date calculator has confirmed 1 April 2013 and can only confirm the exact date after my u/s scan on the 15th - can't wait for the good news.

Thats great momfinally! I'm assuming FMTB and I are close to the same day as we had our transfer the same day! April 15 is what the calculator says. I haven't seen a doctor yet. Did u do ivf?

HI Ladies!

Yep April 15th for me too Excited!! And yes I did test again this morning with a Clearblue HPT and it was a strong YES!!!! Did you test again? These sticks are so accurate I guess your clinic just doesn't feel its necessary. For me the blood test is just another confirmation of what we already know!
No symptoms for me either just AF like cramps- Am feeling a little tired but that could be in my head. No symptoms- I will take it as long as I can as long as I now I'm prego!!

momfinally- Great to have you join us! Look forward to share the journey.

OMG- I've already been to the book store reading like crazy! A little bit of overexcitement but HEH I'll let myself have it. I'm just PRAYING that the embie stays put and healthy for the 9 months!! (the memory of a past miscarriage at 8 weeks looms over me a bit---- but this time will be different!!)

I did test again and the test line was way darker than the control line today? Twins? We are what, 14dpr? Very happy but cautious. Doesn't feel real to me. I went and bought a book today too. The girlfriends guide to pregnancy. Will let u know how it is! When is your first u/s girls? Any concerns about getting u/s to early? When can they tell gender? I can't wait to find out! So hoping for a girl but doesn't matter

Congratulations to you all! Count me in too! *Unofficial due date is April 2, 2013. 1st u/s next Tuesday. I'm not sure which 2ww is more difficult. Look forward to sharing and learning with you all.

... l_belle and the BabyCentre calculator says I'm due on the 2nd April 2013 too but FX that 1st April is the one, LOL, April Fool baby tjo . Thanks for the warm welcome Excited and FutureMomToBe, yep I did IVF and my first u/s is on August 15 (with the fourth Intralipid), can't wait anymore. I see ladies you have bought books already, I consult Dr Google and read Your Pregnancy magazine for now and will buy a book as soon as I come accross a good one.

My symptons are tender boobs, not that sore but have grown big with green veins showing, tiredness, lower back ache is killing me, menstrual like pains that come and go, feeling heavy and bloated, yesterday was worse though much better today, pounding heart, shortness of breath and nose bleed every morning and have had none since yesterday and trusting that it is gone.

A boy wish for me Excited and gender can be confirmed around Week 16 according to Dr Google. Keep well ladies and take care of yourselves, to keep you updated.

Excited - I totally agree with your saying it doesn't feel real. After so long it is hard to believe that it could actually happen, almost surreal. But believe it because it is happening and in no time at all you will see it with your own eyes!

Any book recommendations would be appreciated. Went to the bookstore the other day, it was like a minefield. Did pick up a couple, yawn. Informative but boring, something written in a fun way would be nice. DH's book "Dad's pregnant too" is written in a hilarious manner.

AFM- yeah little symptoms here and there but nothing definitive yet, hard to tell what is real and in my head (over-analyse much)?

Congratulations on your pregnancies!

I just got a surprise BFP last week (I was planning to do IVF#2 this fall) so I'd like to join you if that's ok.

As for books, I would try a few from the library before purchasing. A lot of them can be annoying/boring. I did like the Girlfriend's guide to pregnancy (mentioned above) and I also like the pregnancy book by the Mayo Clinic.

I am trying to relax and enjoy being pregnant but I find this extremely hard to do during the first few weeks.

I'm so so sooo excited to be joining this group!! My official test for the clinic isn't until Saturday, but I tested on Monday (11dp3dt) and it was PREGNANT 2-3 weeks!!! I'm just over the moon! I made an appointment with my family doctor tomorrow morning to confirm the pregnancy.

I've been reading pregnancy books for about a year - a friend lent me some, I'll have to double check the titles. And, pull them out since now they'll be so much more meaningful to me!! The one that my friend said NOT to read was "What to expect when you're expecting" - apparently it's very fear-based - and who really wants that!?

My DH and I don't want to find out the gender, we like the surprise, but we are really hoping for twins!! I'll be happy with a healthy baby... but I have a feeling both sesame seeds stuck!!

Can't wait to get to know you guys better! Oh - and according to babycenter my due date is April 16, 2013. What a great month to have a baby (or two)!!

Glad to have u, I have a feeling mine both stuck too. Haven't made an appt yet, will do that tommorow I guess and ask for a referral to an OB. I heard the same thing about that book!

Did you do icsi? We used donor, severe MF too..
Do those preg tests the digital ones explain what 2-3 weeks mean? I have been wanting to get one too but I know different sites calculate differently. For example I am 4 weeks pregnant but really only 2 since retrievL. What would the test say? 2?

Cannot eat a thing, so turned off food right now, only the blandest of things

2-3 weeks means 2-3 weeks since conception/ER (or 4-5 weeks pregnant).

I am also quite thirsty and occasionally queasy. My waist is noticeably thicker, especially after a meal. I think that may be because this is my 3rd so my stomach muscles are well stretched.

I think I will go get one of those digitals today. I don't feel much going on the last two days. Paranoia sets in. Do u girls find at night in bed that if u turn too quick it kinda pulls on your uterus? Maybe I am just aware of it now.

Dessmans I put my due date in for twins and singleton. For singleton it is April 15, for twins march 25. My husbands bday is march 24, my moms is march 26

Yes, I pee a lot - but especially notice that I get up once or twice during the night which I very rarely used to do at all. And, I hear it gets worse! haha I think it's funny! I LOVE every little pregnancy symptom. I said if I end up throwing up, I know I'll be doing it with a smile on my face. lol I'm just so thankful for this pregnancy and I won't complain about anything!!!

Have you tested at all yet Excited? Sorry I may have missed the answer to that above. And OMG, YESSS I feel the same thing at night sometimes (and even climbing into the car once), when I turn quickly I get a pain/cramping - which does subside, but I keep thinking I need to be more careful. Whew, glad it's not just me!! What day did you do your retrieval and transfer? Our ER was July 24 and ET was the 27th. You must have been really close to my dates and we were at the same clinic! I bet I saw you at one point or another in the waiting room!

Has anyone booked their confirmation appointment with their GP?? Did you do that before or after your first ultrasound with the clinic? I had mine today, I'm pregnant, woohoo! Not that I didn't already know that! But, since the clinic should be seeing me for my 6-7 week ultrasound, she didnt' want to see me again until after that time. It's almost like it was a waste of time. Maybe I jumped the gun, and I wasn't supposed to see her until after the first U/S - but I thought the clinic would have me call her right away. To me (and based on holistic practitioners advice) the first few weeks after conception are sooooo important and critical for doing certain things and avoiding others, and that's not the impression I got from her at all. I'm hoping to be referred to an OB fairly early in the pregnancy, but I guess I wait and see.

Are any of you taking any additional supplements, other than the folic acid or prenatal vitamin -and likely estrodol and prometrium? How much fun is that one hey!? LOL My acupucturist told me to start taking Omega 3 fish oil supplement and suggested Barlean's - it's not bad at all. My doctor suggested Vitamin D today, so I'll have to pick some up on the way home.

I did my retrieval on the 24 too! We did a day 5 transfer tho we probably were there many times together! The waiting room was always super full

So Calgary will give us a req for u/s? Or do we get that from our GP? I wider how this is gonna work as by then I will have an OB- how will they feel about 3 different doctors having their hand in this all?

Do u know what the clinic is going to do once they get the results? Do they just say see ya or what?
