Hi. I am starting my first IVF cycle this june. ET is June 22. I am on the BCP right now and start injections June 8! anyone else going through this right now ???? any advice would be great as I am new to this!!!!

I will be going thru round three IVF. I'm estimating stims to be around mid June. We lost our first BFP after ttc for 10 yrs. it would be nice to be buddies with someone close timing wise.

Its been discovered that I produce a high amount of abnormal embryos so we now only do IVF cycles with PGD in efforts to minimize hardship on our future childrenMy cycles include prednisone, Lovenox, folate for MTHFR, supplements & acupunctureCurrent status: IVF W/ ICSI/PGD LUCKY#7ER 4/20/13 ET 4/25 4 blasts transferred (2 boys & 2 girls) one girl was hatching2 additional boys made it to freeze. This has been our most successful cycle to date, Hoping our prayers are going to be answered soon! Beta 5/3 15. Beta 5/6 6 chemical pregnancy

Hello Medic8989 and Ginger....I was expecting to take progesterone to force a cycle and then start, but I just started a new cycle on my own so I start BCP tomorrow for 14days, stims drugs to follow early to mid june as well. This is my first IVF cycle after trying 3 failed IUI's (the last one was cancelled because I ovulated too early with over 8 folicles). I also have tried 5 months of Clomid to find out that I am clomiphene resistant 200mg per day did nothing (no ovulation).
Some history:
ttc 3 1/2 years
Diagnosed with PCOS after the first year and I do not ovulate with out injectable drugs.
I currently am on 2000mg Glumetza (metformin)

Nice to meet you! glad your cycle started on its own. My RE says the less meds to produce a period the less it messes up other things. I had a period almost be a month late. Sometimes IVF meds can make strange things like that happen. It's frustrating when you want to try again and have to wait.
This will be round 3 for me. I'm having genetic testing done today. We have gotten some uncertain new family history recently and have to be extra careful. Re is even thinking about PGD as well.

I just started my BCP's yesturday and I have my first Ultrasound June 10th (17days BCP).
Ginger I hope your genetic testing went okay...how long do you have to wait for results? your suppression yet?
I just had a friend who got pregnant on her 3rd try of IVF so I will be praying for you especially and of course the rest of us!

I think a couple weeks so it's not bad probably by the time AF arrives again. I'm on Bcp but not for the long protocol most of the ladies do in CA, I'm from the other CA California. It's just to minimize the chances of cysts with pcos. CD 2 I should be able to start stims for short protocol. 4 embryo transfer on day 3 instead of the 2 on day 5 this time. Plus meds for NK cells and blot clots to the embryo. Poss PGD pending my lab results. Hello Everyone,
I am just checking in to see how everyone is doing. This is my last week of BCP I go for my baseline Ultrasound Sunday and then they are going to assign me a Day 3. I will know my time line on Sunday for everything. I am a little stressed because we are still waiting to here about our line of credit, but either way we are going ahead with it. I really hate being on the BCP's again with having PCOS I find that I am really crampy with BCP (all day everyday). I have also been a little moody and craving all kinds of bad food. I think I am actually getting a little excited about starting this rollercoaster. Its been a couple months since we last tried something.

Genetic testing came back perfect! I think we are sticking to the 4 embryos this fresh cycle with a day three transfer. Will find out for sure CD2
