I know its slightly early, but I am totally excited as I got 3 BFP in a row. I hope it gets officially confirmed at beta tomorrow! I don't have my official due date yet, but according to the calculator, I am due in the beginning of Jan 2013. Hope to see lots of us join this thread

Hey Guys,

I had my beta on April 30 was so nervous and excited on same time as it is a dream for all of us to see , So according to IVF Due Date Calender my due date would be January 4th hopefully. I have light cramps and nausea these days and usually on bedtimes had headache too. I am going to have Viability scan on 14 May. I think this is all right now

I did POAS twice yesterday and both are so...I'm pregnant !!! But I will stay cautious for the next few days...! I'm gonna POAS again tomorrow to make sure lines are darker
My EDD is January 12th I already have some cramping since ET, but some days it is really smooth I'm not sure to actually feel something ? Is it normal ? Maybe because it is my second pregnancy my uterus has already been used
Also I'm SO hungry all the time ! Geez !

Sid - Yay welcome to the thread! The due date calendar says January 6th for me. So we are just a couple of days apart. As for your symptoms, no worries. I emailed my doctor cause I get cramping too and he replied saying it is normal. Just get plenty of rest and if it gets worse he will up my progesterone to help my uterus relax as much as possible.

Valishka - Woot! Congrats! Crossing my fingers for a good strong beta for you Cramping is normal. I checked with Dr. M at MFC and he said as long as you are not bleeding bright red there is no real concern, its normal in early pregnancy.

AFM - I just got the result from my beta: 580!!! I am over the moon happy right now. I go back on Friday for a second beta to make sure the numbers are rising.

Wondering if my faint positives are real or due to HCG trigger?

18/04/12 HCG trigger (10,000 units)
20/04/12 ER 5 mature, 5 fertilized
22/04/12 ET (day 2 transfer all 5)
30/04/12 very faint BFP
01/05/12 very faint BFP
02/05/12 very faint BFP!

is this for real or could it still be the HCG trigger lingering? sooooooo nervous

Shanti - I would say the trigger should be gone from your system by now, so its probably the real thing When is your beta scheduled? Wishing you strong beta numbers and lots of baby dust!

I am only scheduled for a Beta May 7th..... what day did you start testing, was/is the line faint? I am using First Response (5 days earlier)

BTW thanks for responding so quickly it was nice to get some positive feedback...

Shanti - I started testing at 8dp5dt, and continued every single day afterwards. Its like pee stick OCD lol. I used the cheapie Dollarama ones and then yesterday I confirmed with a clearblue digital. The line the first couple of days were faint. They then got progressively darker as the days went by.

Hi Ladies, Can I join? I know it's super early but I'm just too excited but cautiously so. Anyone else freaking out? I have my second Beta tomorrow and I'm a little nervous, as I've been cramping a little bit. My first Beta came in at 533 on Tuesday. Judes I remember you from the Nov/Dec IVF cycle. I'm so happy to see you on here.

Shanti - I took my first HPT on Saturday so three days before my beta but I was too chicken to do it earlier. I'd say the results you are seeing are definitely not from the trigger shot.

Shanti, did the line is goind darker each day ? This is usually a sign that your HCG level is raising So even if the first BFP was because of your trigger, just look if the line goes darker or fainter...I have my beta May 7th too, it seems so far away ! Usually HCG 10000 stays for about 10-12 days

JKennedy I'm still worried too and I know I'm gonna be anxious until 12 weeks of pregnancy I've learned that it is so difficult to relax while we are pregnant, and it is worst because of IF and our BFP that are soooo precious !

I too am a bit of a nervous wreck and will remain so till my 12th week as well. I think none of us will really relax until then. I am trying to take it a day and week at a time. I will breathe a little easier when the beta has doubled and we get a heartbeat.

In answer to your question Valishka the tests have all looked the same, except maybe the first one was a tiny bit lighter (but it is hard to confirm that because I thought it was negative so I walked away and then when I looked again I thought evaporation line? But the next 2 tests look the same but I have only been testing less than 3 days......the only reason I tested that early is that I had a bit of spotting the day before so I thought hmmm maybe implantation? But also have some cramping so I guess I have to waite a bit longer to find out....

Shanti I think the test line has to be darker every 2 days or so....(because the HCG should double) So it is surely good news for you !

I also did POAS this morning (second time) and my line is darker than monday fiouuu ! I was so stressed, almost more than my first POAS monday So I think everything is good
But I was wondering, is it normal that last 2 days I don't feel much cramps and pinching than before ? Is it okay ? I feel almost nothing

Hey Guys,

Sorry for late reply as i was sleeping i am taking as much rest i can as i can not sleep in day time anyways i have only one question for valishka as she is also from Mcgill and me too , we only had one beta there before viability scan? as i am reading MFC has 2-3 beta's to make sure HCG level are increasing is this normal?

AFM: nothing much for now just passing this 2ww now for viability scan, hard time sleeping in night time because of cramps ..... but it is all for good ..... so no worryssss

Sid : It depends of the RE that is there the day of your BETA ! At my first IVF, I had to do 2 beta's, 48 hours after the first one. But it's not always like that. If your beta level was nice, you don't have to worry ! Some RE ask to go again whatever the beta numbers is, and some don't, but if your beta was lower than 100 they would ask you to come again. When will be your viability scan (how many weeks/days of pregnancy ?)

Since a few days I have some crazyyyyyy nightmares and weird dreams ! I always woke up in panic and lost, asking myself if it was real or just a dream ! I think it's because of the hormones

JKennedy - How did your second beta go? Hope you have a nice strong number!

Valishka - Yay for the darkening line. That is excellent news! As for symptoms, I think they come and go in early pregnancy. I have not had cramps in a couple of days now nor any twinges, yet my beta yesterday was good. Don't worry too much about it and enjoy it for now I also have trouble sleeping these days due to weird dreams. I dunno why, but that seems to be the way things go. I try to nap during the day to compensate for disrupted sleep at night.

Sid - how are you doing?

AFM - well just taking it easy and waiting for my second beta tomorrow. Any of you started cravings yet? I think I have, cause I am having liver for lunch. Yes you read right, liver lol

Judes : I'm craving for chocolate all the time ! And I eat some almost every day... ! In general I'm really hungry every time, I ate my lunch at 10h30 and dinner at 4h30

Thank you Valishka for your response of my question, Yes I also have sleeping disturbance but i think its because of medications. But i don't have food craving yet but i have nausea and cramps which makes me discomfort sometimes....

Judes, I am doing OK except some symptoms mentioned above how about your days also happy to hear about your beta

It is such a nice way to communicate and release stress.... I love u guyss

I think my BFP was a fake....line seems to be fading ...either remnants of the trigger OR very early m/c...anyway not too hopeful about this cycle anymore feel like AF is around the corner

Shanti - I'm sorry But don't give up hope yet! It isn't over till beta. Do another test tomorrow and see how it goes, and remember that early pregnancy signs mimic AF and PMS symptoms. Hang in there!

Shanti I agree with Judes ! Maybe your urine was more diluted that's why it isn't more darker...? Who knows ? Chin up until your beta ! Or maybe your trigger wasn't gone but you still be pregnant ?

Judes : I forgot to tell...I'm craving for meat too ! T-Bone, Beef palette, etc ! I think our body tell us we need some iron

Hi Shanti, as Judes and Sid said don't give up hope. I was sure this wasn't going to work as I truly felt like my period was coming, and I was sure wrong.

Valishka - I also had crazy dreams. I think it's all part of it.

Sid - I'm having a hard time sleeping too. Mostly it's becasue I wake up so often to go pee. This morning I woke up at 4:30 and couldn't go back to sleep.

AFM - Finally got my second beta results. I didn't get them until after 1pm and I was freaking out, thinking something was wrong. No need to worry though beta almost tripled, 1367. Next step ultra sound on the 14th, same day as you SID. I'm going to try to relax until then, but I'll probably start freaking out again the night before LOL.
