Ok so - a year ago I would have read this post and rolled my eyes at the likelihood of this EVER happening to little ol me.

Here's our story-

We've been ttc for 7 years now, including IUI's, COH, IVF, FET and we were planning to do our 2nd IVF this month. We had all the testing completed, prescriptions phoned into the Pharmacy for my drugs and the whole thing was paid for!!

We were just waiting to call in our day 1 to get the process started. I was expecting to start on Sunday or Monday, but nothing came. So Tuesday went by, Wednesday went by...at this point DH was convinced I should take a hpt. I still thought I must have screwed up the dates, but I said I would pick up a test just to put his foolish thoughts to rest.

I bought the test on the way home from work on Thursday and took it a few hours later. To my utter shock and surprise there was 2 PINK LINES!

I am now 6w 2d and everything is going smoothly. Lots of nausea and fatigue and a nice strong BETA.

Just thought I would share my story in the hope it might offer some encouragement to all my fellow "unexplained" infertility friends!!

Congrats to you! I also had a surprise natural pregnancy. I was floored. I totally didn't expect to see the positive sign on my test. We have been trying for almost 5 years with many different proceedures (surgeries, iui, ivf etc.) I was waiting for another surgery and was told "nothing is going to happen" until you have the surgery. Well, I drank, hot tubbed etc...and didn't count anthing. I thought I was going through "early menopause" for goodness sake! Anyways, I was also one to scoff at the "miracle" pregnancy thing as well.
all the best to you! may your journey be blessed and wonderful.
Z.
Me: 38

Feb 29th - clinic confirms it BFP! Beta 1356...going back Friday...hope it doubles!
Mar 2nd - 2nd Beta 3200!
Mar 27th - dating u/s - 8w6d - saw the heartbeat on screen...so happy
Apr 27th - NT scan - 13w2d; HB 142 - baby bean was enjoying kicking off the wall and falling backwards :)
EDD - October 31st, 2012 (Trick or Treat everyone!)
October 4, 2012 - we welcomed our beautiful daughter, Gabrielle Sarah into the world! What an angel she is!

Congratulations! I know the feeling - I think I might still be in shock ;) Here's to an uneventful pregnancy and delivery!

A friend of mine had trouble as well, had IUIs for her first and second pregnancies (single, then twins), then got pregnant naturally with her fourth kid. And just found out #5 is coming, right after they made the appointment for her husband's vasectomy. Doctors told them it would never happen on their own. Doctors don't know everything.

Awesome Sugaree and ZooZoo. It happened to me too, the first cycle after our first failed ivf, after we'd been trying for 10 years.

Hy everybody,

my name is Anett, I'm from Hungary, Europe.

Now, I'm a mother of two, but for 3,5 years long, I was a woman with unexplained infertility.

So now, I would like to give hope other women. Miracles can happen, even you don't believe in it!

We had medications, 6 IUIs, 2 IVFs, acupuncture and psycho-therapeutics...

And then: a naturally conceived babygirl! babygirl.gif  (Later also a naturally conceived babyboy babyboy.gif

You can read about our story in my blog

Thank you.

May all your dreams and wishes come true,

with love,

Anett

Congrats!
We also experienced the big surprise after a disasterous IVf and while in the midst of adopting our daughter. I had a Tumor removed though that they found after my son's stillbirth which I think was really causing problems including my losses because of the stress hormones it was producing.
Me - now 36 Him - 37
Trying to conceive since our wedding day May 25, 2008.
Started Clomid Jan-April 2012.
Referred to RFP June 2012.
First consult at RFP November 2012.
First IVF cycle on antagonist protocol (GonalF, Luveris) January 2013.
Transferred two day-3 embryos, had severe OHSS, lost one twin between 7-13 weeks but was expecting one little one October 2013.
Found out at 6 mos that our little one had died weeks earlier and had to induce and deliver stillborn, July 25, 2013.
Something found on adrenal gland at follow up ultrasound, MRI showed what seems to be a benign tumor. Meeting with specialist Jan 8, 2014 - all fertility treatments on hold. :/
Tumour is definitely producing Aldosterone (causes high blood pressure) and Cortisol. Lucky me, only 34 similar cases recorded in the world! Tumour removed May 2014.
Approached about a possible adoption March 2014. Rush through all the paperwork and process.
Charlotte Evangeline born June 27, 2014. We brought her home on July 7 and held our breath for 10 days until she officially became ours.
Surprise BFP October 2014. Due to wonky cycles, ultrasounds convince Doctors I have a blighted ovum but detailed ultrasound reveals heartbeat at 6w3d. On progesterone support and waiting to see if pregnancy is still viable. Holding our breath again.
Adalyn Marie born on June 9, 2014 after a roller coaster pregnancy.
