Not sure where to post this, but...... I guess I'll start here!
I have an incredibly high AMH level. It's actually off the map at 61.35 pmol/L. The interpretation of results goes as follow:
0.0-2.2 very low Ovarian Reserve
2.2-15.7 Low Ovarian Reserve
15.7-28.6 Medium...
28.6-48.5 High...
Greater than 48.5 Suspicion of Polycycstic ovarian disease / granulosa cell tumours.

I have neither Poly, nor cell tumours or I'm pretty sure I would have been informed by my Dr. before starting my first round of IVF!

So, this leads me to my first IVF cycle and first disappointment. B/c of my high levels, I was put on a very low dose of everything. I thought I would be a egg producing machine, but in the end, only had 5 eggs retrieved.

So, heres my question: Anyone else in my boat? I would love to know what protocol you were on, and what dosage of meds you were given.

For my next cycle, I will be on the antagonist protocol, 225 gonal F, 125 leveris (vs. 150/75 the first time).

Please share! Thanks!

Hi Heregoesnothing - I'll be able to share my protocol with you at the end of May - that's when we're writing our first IVF plan. My AMH was off the charts too at 60....my RE said it was the highest he had ever seen. I do have PCOS. When he told me about the high AMH he said that they would have to be ver careful with the meds as they needed to give enough 'to get me off the ground' but not so much that I landed in the hospital with OHSS. At this point I'm pretty sure I will be doing the antagonist protocol.

Sorry I can't offer more information than that...

IVF 1 - cancelled, oversuppressed

IVF 2 - cancelled, ovulated through stims

IVF 4 - adding in PGS this time, two PERFECT blasts transferred, BFN
