Hopefulmom, sounds like your in a good spot right now too. My next u/s is July 13 looking forward to that. Nausea ended around 4:30 yesterday and then back this morning. Food is just my strong suit right now. I also have no energy when I first wake up in the morning. It takes me a while to do anything.

Hey girls, worry is starting to creep in again for me. Just don't feel as pregnant as yesterday. Boobs arestill sore but I don't know if they are as bad as they were a couple days ago. Still getting queasy but again only when I'm hungry. I have my beta on Tuesday and then only one week after I have my u/s. Only time will tell I guess.
Me 33 DH 48 TTC for 8 years. Two pregnancies from fertility treatments, 1 chemical and 1 blighted ovum. 2IVF's, 2 FET's done so far. Not done yet. See about me page for details.

I'm very hopeful for you tjluvbug! I think with all the hormones fluctuating in early pregnancy, you're bound to have "better" days than others! Hang in there!

I appreciate your concern though...as I am also having a "bad feeling" day.
I have my FET scheduled for Tuesday. I've started a new thread in the "General Infertility" forum about cervical position, but thought since most of you here have already made it to transfer, you might be able to shed some light for me...

I'm on 8mg Estrace and 600mg Prometrium (vaginal) suppositories daily (introduced 4 days ago). I'm currently CD22. My cervical position over the last few days (noticed while inserting the prometrium) is VERY low, but soft and open (not hard and closed like before AF). I'm concerned though...because low position is pretty indicative of AF isn't it?

Have any of you had this? Is it normal or are the hormones not sustaining and my body preparing for AF?
I'm concerned this game is already over...and it hasn't even begun yet.

Kennyandfooty-unfortunately I don't have any ideas about cervical position, I never really know what's what. I think tho that you are on a high dose of estrogen and progesterone which will keep AF at bay. My 1st FET I transferred at day 23 and this time I was day22. I think you'll be okay but if u are really nervous then it doesn't hurt to call the clinic and ask one of the nurses.

I have tried to call my clinic, but with the holiday there is no one available today or tomorrow to talk to. I've sent an email in hopes that someone can call me before they thaw any embryos on Tuesday...but I think I might just go in early...and not wait for a call.

Kennyandfooty - not sure if this helps, but I have noticed all kinds of different things happening with my cervix, even since the BFP. Sometimes things are soft and sometimes very hard. Seems to change all the time. I never thought to ask my clinic about it though. My guess is that it just changes often and maybe doesn't influence whether the pregnancy will take. Having said that, I am definitely NOT an expert so if you're able to talk to them before they thaw embryos, that would probably be worthwhile.

Also, at my clinic I left a message on a holiday once. I didn't expect them to call me back but a nurse did call a few hours later! Maybe they will call you today or tomorrow afterall?

Please keep us updated on this.

tjluvbug - that's a really great beta! As kennyandfooty said, I am sure the symptoms fluctuate daily based on hormone surges!

manders - sorry for the loss of one bean - but so thrilled for you that you have one hanging on strong!

hopefulmom - sounds like things are going well for you! You've got a fighter in there for sure!

kennyandfooty - I hope you got your questions answered. I had never really thought about my cervix position too much, but as I read your post I realised that I too had experienced different 'postitions' throughout my endometrin deposits!

notalone - do you have a tentative plan for when you will do your FET?

AFM... well, we are home early from camping. I had a terrible night last night. (tmi alert....). I woke up at midnight with horrible cramping and then felt a gush. Went to the bathroom to find bright red blood and a clot. Cramping lasted about 3 hours. Finally got back to sleep and this morning had some more cramping and just a little more bleeding. The bleeding has pretty much stopped now, but still have mild cramps. So... it's the end of the road for this cycle. I haven't talked to RE or doctors... with the long weekend there is no one to call. I guess I have to wait until Tuesday to confirm it all (happy birthday to me... yup... its my birthday on Tuesday). I was talking to my mom (to see if I should go to emergency room) and she was trying to be positve saying "maybe it was just one that miscarried". As much as I would love to believe that... in my heart of hearts I know... I'm feeling sad, bitter and really struggling to start to have any sort of 'closure' on it until I have that definitve answer from the RE (yes... even though I know, apparently I need to hear it).

Sorry to be such a downer... just needing a place to vent where I know people understand.

Soojong - I'm so sorry to read about what happened to you. That must have been horrible. And so hard that you were away from home. It must have been an awful night. When I read your story, I was thinking the same as your mom, that maybe it was one that miscarried. That would still be really sad of course, but maybe its possible that you could still have a healthy baby. That would be great news to get on your birthday. I know I could be wrong, but I'm really hoping that for you. I hope you can find out really soon. Please keep us posted.

soojong - I am so sorry! I would still call genesis today to talk to a nurse, you will get a call back. Are you RH - or + because if you are negative then you need to get a rhogam shot ASAP. Last time I was pregnant and had bleeding they made me go to ER to get it because it can affect the current pregnancy and any possible future pregnancies. I am still holding onto some hope for you. PM me anytime!

Soojong - so sorry to hear what you are going through, my heart goes out to you... hoping that there is a miracle and that your little one hangs in there... glad that you came on here and were able to vent, that is what this is for... please know we are thinking of you!!

notalone2 - wishing all the best as you start your FET, I did it unmedicated both the last time and this time. The only thing I am taking is the progesterone 3x daily... I agree with Hopefulmom, each embryo is different, so they all have their own chance for sure.

tjluvbug - that is such great news!! so happy for you that your beta doubled :)hoping that your appointment tomorrow goes well, thinking of you - and hoping that you are able to relax and keep your doubts away (I know that is really hard to do)

Manders - happy for you that you are progressing along, sorry to hear about the one twin aborbing, but that is good news about the other baby and how things are measuring along really well!

Hopefulmom - i completely understand - any spotting, whether red or brown is worriesome, hoping everything is okay

Kennyandfooty - sorry I'm not too sure about the position of the cervix for transfer either, thinking of you and hoping you get some answers to your questions soon.

AFM - we just got back from our long weekend away... I ended up doing a HPT yesterday morning, and it was positive :)... i didn't want to believe it, lol... I did another one today, and again positive. I go for my Beta on Wednesday, so I hope everything goes well and our numbers look good.

Jeanie - Yay for a positive HPT. I decided to go in today for my 3rd beta because our hospital lab is open. The only reason the clinic scheduled it for July 3rd was because they figured I'd go to lifelabs which is not open. I can get my test results this afternoon if I go back to the lab in person. They don't give test results over the phone. Very nervous but at least I'll know one way or the other.

Hey ladies, so I got my 3rd beta. It did rise from 2737 to 5547 but it took 70 hours to double basically. I know the internet says that after 1200 mIU it can take 72-96 hours to double but I'm still worried.

I guess though if I input my first beta of 699 from June 25th and my 3rd beta from today into a hcg calculator it comes up as only a 57 hour doubling time. I just don't know what to think!!!!

Jeanie - Congratulations! That's so great! Looking forward to your beta result!

tjluvbug - I think your numbers sound great. When is your ultrasound? My RE said that as soon as a heartbeat is detectable, the beta numbers actually don't mean as much. If you're 6 weeks, then you might be at that point already, so rising numbers are good, but doubling rates become less important. I don't really know, that's just what they told me.

Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and words. I can't even begin to express how much comfort coming to this thread gives me during all of the ups and downs. My DH is trying to be supportive, but he doesn't know what to do and he doesn't understand my emotions about all of this. I've always known that he doesn't handle stress terribly well, but I don't think we've had this much stress between us before. He's an action kind of guy - he wants to be able to physically do something, and keeps asking me what he should do and then gets frustrated when I say "I don't know". He told me today that he is going to buy me a dog and was upset when I told him that I don't want a dog and that a dog doesn't replace a child! I know it was meant with good intentions... just such a boy brain sort of thing!

I called Genesis and one of the nurses (that deals mostly with my local RE's patients) called me back. She said that I just need to keep taking the meds and go to my RE's office tomorrow to see what we do from there. The bleeding has sort of stopped. Not out right, but there has been no 'flow' of blood since that first 6 hours or so. Last night and today has been mostly brown, more with the endometrin discharge and brown (with a hint of red) when I wipe. Wow.... crazy the things we share on this forum... who knew that this amount of detail would be acceptable! lol. I'm feeling mentally better today - I realise there is not a lot I can do but wait. So... I will just wait...

tjluvbug - I think you are doing just fine - they say the doubling should occur within 48 to 72 hours ... so even at the 70 hour calculation, you are within normal limits. This is a good thing! It is rising nicely I think!

Jeanie - very exciting hpt! I hope the next few days fly by for you so you can get your beta results in.

Kennyandfooty - good luck tomorrow! I hope your transfer goes perfectly!

Hello to everyone else, I hope all is well!

TJ, your numbers do look great. When will your u/s be? I'm sure your looking forward to that.

Soojong, thinking of you- please keep us posted with what the Doc says tomorrow. You may need to have a full bladder if they do an u/s, did the nurse tell you what to expect?

KennyandFooty, will be thinking of you tomorrow. When you get home tomorrow- pop on and let us know how everything goes.
