I'm considering talking to a therapist. Does anyone have a recommendation in London Ontario? I don't really know where to begin to look for someone.

I do not know any therapists in that area. You can try calling your hospital's mental health area and they can advise you on someone who can assist. I will say that I definitely encourage to speak to someone about IF and anything else going on in your life. This is a very difficult road, and sometimes just talk therapy with someone that is a professional and has no judgement helps ease all the pains.

Have you looked on the website for the any of the clinics you have used to see who they use? I don't mean to scare you, but I have heard horror stories about people going to therapists that don't specialize in IF to discuss IF.

IVF #1
Nov 2010 9 weeks...m/c
FET #1
June 20th: 9 weeks...m/c
FET #2: Oct. 18th: BFN
IVF#2: January 2012: BFN
April -July 2012: FET cancelled 3 times due to poor lining
Aug 2012: 4th attempt at FET using stimulation meds. Lining is 9 mm triple stripe finally.
Aug 28th: All 3 embryos did not survive thaw. Transfer cancelled
Aug 29th: Surprise! One embryo started dividing overnight and was transferred! BFN
April 2013: double donor cycle in California. Taking stim meds for my lining. Transfer April 18th of 2 blasts.
April 26th: Beta 333 (8dp5dt)
April 29th: Beta 1092 :-)
May 21st: 7 weeks twins!!!

Hi hoping/praying- just thought I'd chime in with a suggestion if you haven't found one yet. The psychologist I see in Halifax (Lori Parker) is a specialist in IF- and is just soo amazing. She goes to lots of conferences to talk to other therapists and may know of a colleague who knows about IF in your area. If you send her office a message they may have a recommendation

Any one have a recommendation for the Peterborough area (I would even take Oshawa, Cobourg or Lindsay... basically a 45 minute radius)? I went to a social worker at my doctor's office, she was nice but definately didn't get it as demonstrated by her saying "getting pregnant is so weird... did you know that the sperm can live inside you for up to 5 days? I'm pretty sure that's what happened to me because I have no idea how I got pregnant". It's funny that of all the good stuff she said that's what sticks out to me.
