I currently have 3 embryos in the blast stage and 1 in the morula stage. It is my understanding that stem cells are extracted from embryos in the blast stage. I was wondering if it is possible to extract stem cells from embryos in the morula stage.

I will be undergoing a frozen transfer soon. My RE has suggested that all 4 be thawed. If they all survive the thaw, then I will only be transferring the three blasts. If stem cells can be extracted from the morula, then I would like to refreeze it and have the option of donating it for stem cell research.
