Wanted to send you a HUGE CONGRATS Julie!! :woohoo:
Me (Kerri-Lyn) 41, DH (Steve) 37, TTC since April 2007Unexplained IF (possibly crappy eggs, AMH 10.4 = poor responder) - HSG, SHGx3, Lap, Cycle Monitoring, Recurrent loss bloods, EMB, Karyotyping, DNA Frag - all normal! 7 IUI's, 2 cancelled IVF's, 3 complete IVF's, 1 FET, 2 clinics, 1 early miscarriage, lots of debt, lots of heartache, lots of tears. We rolled the dice and got lucky on our last ditch "close the door" cycle and have a beautiful little girl. April 2014 - Had the crazy notion to try for another. Shocked with a BFP, miscarried @ 8W6D. See my "about me" page for more cycle details.

Hello Ladies!!!
What a great thread idea, and I am so happy to be a part of it. I have been a step mom for 7 years, but I can't wait to feel everything that goes with being pregnant. My sister is like you are too early to start celebrating, and my response is....doesn;t matter what tomorrow may bring, today I am pregnant, and I am celebrating it because I am loving it!! I pray everyday that this works out, I just can't see god playing such a horrible trick on us. I am sure it was meant to be. So hence I join you other ladies in strength together to face this 9 month battle together! Let the next three months be filled with more ups than downs, and more laughter than tears.
All the best to you, and CONGRATS on your pregnancy!!!

This is my first pregnancy - I am so thrilled and anxious!

Well I went to the clinic this morning for my second beta - it more than doubled - 1520!! So yay!!

My ultrasound is booked for Sept 8 - it seems so far away - I hope it comes fast - I just want to know everything is ok - man wouldnt it be nice to relax just a little bit during this whole process!! hehehehe

Well I better get going - lots of stuff to do tonight - we are thinking about selling our house - so we are meeting with a realtor next week - so we are decluttering now...fun!

Hope everyone is doing well!

Last night DH had to work late and I had to go and drop off a gift to a colleague, so it was 8:00 and we hadn't had dinner yet. When I picked DH up, I said to him "I really want a steak", so at 9:00 p.m. on a Wednesday we were at Canyon Creek eating steak! I said to DH hopefully steak doesn't end up being my "craving" as this could get really expensive. It was the first time I ever had to order my steak "well done" but it was nice none the less. It was so funny to look at the menu and think of what is "best for baby". I loved it, amd will likely grow to enjoy my well done beef!

Congrats to all the new April mommies who have joined us since my last post!

Julie, I didn't realize you were going back to work already!! How was that? Who do you leave your daughter with? I'm going back in September, I'm a teacher, and am already plotting when the earliest I can go off is. Probably March Break. I worked right until the last minute last time and there is no way I will be doing that again!! I am dreading going back to work!! And I took extended mat leave!
I do not feel pregnant in the least! Except all of a sudden I'm really tired, and I remember that happening last time, I was exhausted through the first trimester.
How's everyone else feeling??

Good evening everyone!! Just thought I would say we have a good group going here. I'm excited!

This last week has been stressful for me... I have been having weird spotting, its scary because
I have never done any of this before. The docs cant get me in for my ultrasound until the 21st
but if anything gets worse I will have to go to emerg. I pray things go well for me, I dont think
I would be able to lose this one (or two), I would be an emotional train wreck :(

How is everyone else feeling? I'm still in utter shock that we are finally pregnant. I'm excited
to hear about everyone stories and see what happends at all of the ultrasound appointments!

Hope everyone is well. Have a great weekend!

Good morning, everyone!!

Welcome to our newcomers - I agree with Jamie! Looks like we are going to have a great group of ladies here!

Jamie - I have heard of many instances where there was spotting in the first trimester and it hasn't been an issue. Hang in there, okay - we will all keep our fingers crossed for you and do know that we are here for you!!

AFM - We went for our u/s on Wednesday, when I was 6 weeks and 3 days. We saw one beautiful, amazing, incredible sac with a little baby and a flickering heartbeat - 113 bpm!! We are so, so happy - words can't really describe it.

One question for you all - has anyone NOT had much nausea yet? I haven't really had any morning sickness, and I'm not sure what it means. Everyone I've talked to tells me that they started feeling sick around 5 weeks - and tomorrow I'm at 7 weeks, but nothing yet. I have been tired and the smell of certain things has turned me off, but I haven't had any full blown nausea yet!

Hope you are all well - it seems quiet on this thread, so I hope you post some of your updates soon!!

Take care,

Springroll

Hi Springroll - just thought I'd give my experiences too, since we're only a few days apart. I am on the March due date thread, due the 28th. I am having the same thing as you - 7 weeks and 5 days and no morning sickness to speak of - just a nose like a blood-hound (I can smell everything, and usually, it makes me not want to eat) and lots of sleepiness. I think I'd be more reassured if I was feeling sick all the time! I've read that it usually shows up by 8 weeks if you are going to have it at all - so I guess I have a couple more days to wait. If my uterus wasn't swelling up and I wasn't desperate for a nap every afternoon, I wouldn't believe that I was pregnant. My first u/s isin't happening until Sept 8th, when I am 11 weeks, so I am just hoping and praying that everything is growing healthy and normally. Anyway, just wanted to let you know, you're not alone. I'm glad there is someone else on here with similar symptoms (or lack or them) as mine.
Take care!

Springroll so excited about your u/s, that is awesome!! Do you feel more reassured? I have mine this wed, and I think once they look at it and say things are going okay I can start to enjoy it, sometimes I find myself panicing over silly stuff. Some says I have all the symptoms, somedays I couldn't tell. I too haven't hit the nausea stage yet, although I feel "off" I by no means have to throw up yet.
This is my first, and I may have a blonde question, but maybe you ladies can answer it.....where do you go for expectant mother stuff. Like I can't do up my top button of my pants (well I can but it is squishy and I don't want to hurt baby) and I hear there is a thingy that goes around your waist (and looks like a tank top) that covers the fact that your button isn't done up, but what the heck is it called and where would I go get it? Does anyone know where to look for things like that? Or special pillows?

Congratulations on your pregnancy, New Beginnings! I think you are looking for the Bella Band - it is available at most maternity stores, like Thyme Maternity and Motherhood Maternity. Other specialty baby stores carry them too. I got mine at Motherhood Maternity, where they sell a rip-off brand called the Belly Band - comes in 3 colours and it is awesome. Basically, you can just leave your button open all day, and your pants won't fall down. Just looks like you are wearing a t-shirt underneath your top. It is awesome. You can get pregnancy pillows at Sears, but a great place is Babies R Us, which is attached or inside of the Toys R Us (if you have one). They sell a huge, curved pillow called the "snoogle". It is a type of body pillow, but thinnner so your partner still has room in your bed. It curves over your shoulder and behind your head, and the other end curves between your knees, and you just basically hug it all night. It is soooo comfy, and it will keep you from sleeping on your back in your second trimester. Well, hope I've helped a bit. I tend to be a bit of a shopper. If you are wondering about anything else, or if you've found anything you love, I'd love to hear about it!
Take care, and have a great day!

I had no nausea in my last pregnancy at all, and have no symptoms now, besides feeling a little more tired in the afternoon.
I also agree that bella bands are great. I wore them for about 6 months, so I didn't need to buy maternity clothes until around my 7th month. Although I hear the second pregnancy you show quicker, so I'll probably need to drag out the maternity clothes a lot sooner!!

Hey ladies!

Just thought I would pop in - things have been going fine over the past week or so - haven't really been feeling any different - which of course makes me nervous...but Im trying to remind myself I got the BFP so things should be moving along. Yesterday I had a bad day - I was leaving work and somehow (don't ask how - all I can say is pregnancy thus far has made me into a very clumsy person) tripped while stepping off a curb into our parking lot and wiped out! I mean I hit the cement on my knees and literally knocked the wind out of myself! No one was around - thank god - I would have died of embrassment - but my left knee is all cut up and super sore today (can hardly walk on it - so it hurt badly - but I instantly burst into tears because I was so worried about the baby - I cries all the way home - things seem to be ok - no bleeding or pain - thank god - but Im still stressed out about it....I was so upset - after everything I went thru to get pregnant and thats what happens....just my luck!!

Well hope everyone is doing well!!
Hopefully today will be a better day!
