Emily I'm so jealous of your u/s on the 23rd! This time around things are different for me - no beta, no early u/s - I feel so lost and a bit in denial myself. It feels like my appointment is forever away yet. Congrats on your BFP ~ those are great Beta numbers!!
ACO how our your DS's doing? Hope everything is well with you and your family!

Can I "kind of" join?
I am, just like all of you, still in a huge denial and not believing anything until my first u/s on Nov 15th...I will be 6w3d, so I really hope I hear my babies heartbeat (even though I heard it might be too early). My due date should be July 8th.
After 5 yrs of TTC, 7 infertility treatments, and 2 m/c, I am being very catiously optimistic about this pregnancy. My beta have started pretty good, 14dpo - 220 and 17dpo - 720, and now I am waiting for my 1st u/s. I am constantly searching for symptoms and praying for some. I do have very sore bbs, but sometimes when they are not as sore - I freak out! Besides that I am getting very tired, feeling a little bit quaesy and have a headache every morning. But that all could be in my head.
I think if I didn't find you girls I would lose it! For instance last night when I got up to pee (and by the way I pee every hour, but that's because I am sooooo thirsty and drinking so much water), my bbs were not sore at all. I drove myself crazy, thinking it's all over.
So please, can I go through this craziness with you?
How are all of you feeling? Any symptoms, lack of?

Nina, try not worry too much about the lack of symptoms. With Abigail I had NO symptoms through my entire pregnancy. I guess I shouldn't say none, I was exhausted all the time but that was it; no morning sickness, no sore boobs, slow weight gain, etc. So far it's been the same this time around, which really is a blessing even though it may not seem like it at the time.
I can't wait to hear about your ultrasounds, the first ones are the most exciting!
Oh, and I just wanted to mention that you 'may' see/hear the baby's heartbeat at 6w 3d - we saw and heard Abigail's heartbeat at 6w 1d. My DH said that it reminded him of standing in a dark room and having someone turn a flashlight on and off really quickly!

Like TashaS we were surprised by a natural BFP! We are thrilled and excited, but feeling very cautious and not entirely sure how it happened? It looks like our due date will be July 4, 2011 but with no ultrasounds scheduled it feels very low tech and a bit like we're guessing! I have my first maternity appt next week so hopefully we'll start to feel like things are a bit more real after that!
Hope all is well with everyone!

Congrats to you boomerang on your natural pregnancy. They say one you have had one, your body knows how to get pregnant... For us it would not be an option because DH sperm cannot get out...
Nina - How did you conceive? Congrats too. I don't have a lot of symptoms either. A bit of reflux/nausea and tired but otherwise, I don't feel much. I am going crazy over every little thing happening in my body.. Is it normal? Am I having a miscarriage? I have to let go a bit so it's great to have people to talk to!
Tasha - wow, your babies are going to be close... That's great even if returning to work early isn't!!!

Is anyone else really struggling with nausea? I feel like I've tried everything and nothing seems to help. I don't want to eat anything, but if I don't, it's even worse. When I do try to eat something, I spend the next 2 hours trying to relax my stomach to keep everything down. It's constant right now and is making me feel like the days are going so slowly!! Any ideas on things that may help? I'm wearing the sea bands, drinking ginger ale and tea and living off of toast...uggh...how many days left until the second trimester???
Hope everyone is well and hopefully we'll start to see some more Mom's join in

Hi,I am six weeks today, saw baby on us at 5weeks 2days but no heartbeat at this point. I am scared at the moment since I started spotting and light bleeding two days ago. My RE will get me in for another us tomorrow. I am so scared that there will be no heartbeat and no baby, I can hardly breathe.
I hope everything is okay...I know what that is like...same thing happened to me last time, but at our clinic we don't go for the first u/s until around 7 weeks. I'm actually glad about that because no heartbeat at just 5 weeks can be fairly ambiguous...it seems a little early no?

twoforme - Spotting can be scary but my clinic said as long as it's not bright red, not to worry. I personnally have cramping very similar to AF but no spotting and it scares the hell out of me. I blogged to know if it was normal and all the ladies on here said not to worry, that's it's the uterus expanding... Had them in the middle of the night again. Didn't sleep very well. I am not sure you will see a heartbeat tomorrow as it's still early.

I'm wondering is I can join too. I had 3 embryos transfered on Oct 29th and on Nov 13 I got a BFP with a beta of 540. I'm really excited and hopeful at this point. On Dec the 6th I have my first US and my due date is around July 19th.
I'm not sure why I only have one beta but that's what they told me. Hope everyone is relaxing when they can and taking a break from the endless research once in a while.
Cheers

Softi I can't wait to hear how your ultrasound goes today! I hope you get to see your quickly blinking flashlight (heartbeat); it's amazing!!!
How is everyone else doing? Everything here is still going great - still no symptoms (same as with DD) - the shock is slowly starting to wear off but it's still there. I've already started thinking of baby names. DH wants a little boy this time but I just have a gut feeling that it's a girl again. Anyone else planning on finding out the babies gender?

I've had baby names considered for a long time now....my husband said if it's a boy we should name him "Cash"...tee hee!!
Had some good gagging today....so that's reassuring. Seems if I let myself get hungry, that's when I feel the worst.
Have a great day everyone....and by that I mean...I hope you all feel a little sick!!!

I am freaking out a little also as I don't really have any symptoms. I am told that several women feel nothing this early on. And that I may be just lucky not to have any morning sickness etc. So, I am trying so hard to be positive but analyzing absolutely everything. Our first u/s is this Wed. I will be 7 weeks and 4 days. So I am hoping we hear the heartbeat(s).
It think initially with all of the ivf meds etc. that I was bloated and my insides were probably all swollen and that is why I felt more pregnant then I do now. Things have gone back to normal size I think and so without the bloating etc. I pretty much feel like myself. Pants are normally fine but at times can be a little tight. Like I said, I'm trying to rationalize through everything...lol
Twoforme - I hope the bleeding is not m/c. We are all thinking of you. Let us know how you are doing.

That's exactly how I feel, I was just telling the clinic today that I was really bloated, especially, at night, but that seems to be subsiding. It seems like we're all so similar in regards to the minimal symptoms. I'm so reassured by that....I think because we're all paranoid about the same thing, it must mean that this is all very normal! Great to hear from you and congratulations on your news!Hi everyone, I'm glad someone started this group. This is our first go with IVF and we were lucky enough to get a
on Oct. 25 which was 11dpt. My first Beta was 576, the second was two days later at 1386 and I had a third 20dpt and it was 17,713.
