So things are constantly changing and today I find out that I can't book my flight until, at the earliest July 1st!  I need to make sure that Greece will let me and my husband into the country.  Felt like another blow.  Ugh, im feeling beat up again.  Just thought I would vent to ladies who understand.

Do you have your Covid test done prior to your flight? Does Greece require proof of a negative test?
Currently in the middle of my treatment. Surprised that meds are going ok. If things dont work out, Im headed to Czech Republic or Greece.

Yes, I get the Covid test first before my flight but it has to be within 4 days and I need to send the results to the clinic for them to submit to the government no later then 24 hours before I arrive!  It is a really tight time line!  I hope that this treatment goes smoothly for you and you can travel to Czech & Greece just because:)

Hi Ladies,

 

The clinic I chose was Gynem, in Prague. My husband and I were so comforted at their "family style" approach. It's hard to articulate, but inasmuch as you can make a fertility clinic a place of family-building (and less of a factory), this place was it. Be prepared to be surprised: there's no cattle call to blood, ultrasound, nurses. That's not how they do it. You see your physician; you get blood drawn. All of the information you need is provided by your doctor same day because they do the ultrasound. It is way more civilized. 

 

So I haven't had the transfer yet but I was just so pleased with the initial visit. We did bloods, an ultrasound, a physician visit, and my husband also left a sample to be frozen (extra insurance for us / the procedure). We left the clinic with *all* of the medications for our ED cycle, including progesterone for post-transfer, paid for the visit and just feel very prepared for next steps.

Youre not able to travel to Greece yet? Are you traveling from Toronto? Im sure they have flights!

Wizzair and other  European companies started to fly to/from the UK and Czech rep about 2-3 weeks ago.

I was finally able to book. I fly to Athens and then catch a local plane to Thessaloniki. Have you been able to rebook?
