Fertility Journey so far……
Have been on Synthroid for since I was 16 years old.
Married to my Loving Husband March 2008. (We have two Lovely Fur-Babies. Dogs named Shelby & Zoey)
April 27, 2008-Stopped taking Birth Control Pill, to start trying to conceive
March 10, 2009- Finally had an Appointment with Gynecologist Dr.Kim for Fertility Issues.
May17, 2009-Started Clomid 50mg for the first time on Day 3
May 21, 2009-Had HSG, very painful but showed no issues
From May 17, 2009- Feb 4, 2010- Did 9 cycles of clomid at different doses of 50mg or 100mg
February 5, 2010- new period started (cycles are really getting out of whack again)
February 23, 2010- Appointment follow-up with Dr. K
March 11, 2010- First Appointment with Dr. S @ RAH Edmonton Fertility-Plan is to try injectables with intercourse for now. Dr. S always makes her patients take a month break between each cycle.
April 14, 2010- Injection Training
April 27, 2010- Day 1 of first cycle of injectables #1
April 29, 2010-Day 3 started on 50 IU of puregon daily. Did injections from Day 3 – Day 14, then HCG trigger injection on May 11, 2010-BFN
May 25, 2010- Period off & on until June 17, 2010 and then went without a period until July 30, 2010.
Aug 2010-end of year- Cycles were all over the place. I was away from city too many times to start another cycle yet.

July 13, 2011- Day 1 of this Cycle #3
July 15, 2011- Day 3 started 150mg IU of Injectables for 5 days then switched to 75 IU for 2 days.

October 26, 2011- Follow-up appt with Dr. S. Will proceed with trying IUI now.
October 28, 2011- Started Prometrium again to start a cycle.
November 7, 2011- Day 1 of this cycle #4
November 9, 2011- Day 3 started 100 IU of Puregon injections daily. Did Injections until Day 11.
November 18, 2011- HCG Trigger Injection.
November 20, 2011- First IUI Attempt. Didn't hurt at all and was fairly quick
November 30, 2011- Started spotting & period only 10 days after IUI. Heart-broken.
November 30, 2011- was bleeding off & on from this date to Dec 24, 2011 until given Provera for 7 days. Stopped bleeding until January 4, 2012. Doctor's office finally called me back on January 11, 2012. Bleeding finally stopped naturally until Jan 23, 2012. Had to go to RAH for another Ultrasound to check everything on Jan 25, 2012. Everything looks fine and given Provera again for 14 days. Started bleeding again on Feb 3, 2012. Had another Ultrasound on February 13, 2012 and given Marvelon to try to adjust my hormones to stop the bleeding.
March 12, 2012- Day 1 of this Cycle #5
March 14, 2012- Day 3 started 100 IU puregon injections daily. Did injections until March 19, 2012. (Asked 2 nurses, 1 doctor and left 1 message to ask about possible progesterone supplements to lengthen luteal phase-no return call from message left and the doctor & nurses didn't seem to think it was necessary)
March 20, 2012- HCG Trigger Injection.
March 22, 2012- IUI attempt number two
April 1, 2012- Period started. Again only 10 days after IUI, Very sad and very frustrated.
