Hi everyone,

 

Just a quick question - has anyone ever started follicle stimulation after ovulation? Our clinic is having my wife start follistim on her CD 16. Egg retrieval is set to happen potentially on CD 25-29 - her next period will most likely start on the CD 25 as well.

 

Has anyone else been on a schedule like this? It's very different than the "standard" cycle we keep reading about, and I'd love to hear from anyone else with mid-luteal stimulation experiences .

 

Also, we're 37/38, both healthy but not pregnant after about a year of trying, and going through our first round of IVF. We have some idea of what to expect, but glad to meet the group!
