Hello everyone,

Hope everyone is doing great.

I want to know if you have any suggestions to get back into TTC after a miscarriage. I have low AMH levels and was supposed to start IVF in May. To my surprise, we got pregnant on our own in March but had a missed miscarriage as their was no heartbeat detected during U.S.

Logically it makes sense that it would not have been a viable pregnancy, but why is it so difficult to get past the loss. It has been a month since the miscarriage but I can't back into eating right or exercise. I have no motivation to do anything. How do I move on and take better care of myself.

I guess I am just looking for positive stories that this phase will pass..

Have been trying since 2014

First consult with Dr. in Feb 2016.  AMH levels at 5.37 pmol in Feb 2016.  Dr. switched clinics and my file got lost in transition.

Second consult with the same Dr. at a different clinic in Sept 2016.

First IUI in Oct 2016 - BFN

Diagnosed with hypothyroidism and DOR in Oct 2016

HSG in Jan 2017 - all fine

Natural BFP in Mar 2017 but no heart beat detected at US. Had to induce miscarriage in May 2017.

Starting my first mini IVF in September....

Wishing everyone what their heart desires💕☺️😀

I am sorry for your loss. After many years of early losses, I finally got pregnant in 2015. I unfortunately had to terminate my pregnancy at 16 weeks and she was a baby girl. That loss broke me, emotionally, physically and spiritually. It took me a long time and even though I have had 4 failed FET'S since her loss, I am glad they failed. I realized I was trying to replace her and was not through with my grief. Just recently I learned that I had not let go of that guilt of loosing her and blamed myself for her birth defect. I also truly was not over her loss. I believe that because of that, I was preventing my body from accepting another embryo. Although I still miss her, I now understand that Ava Maria is doing her work in heaven. She had other things to do and reached her soul purpose even in the short while she was with me. I could finally talk about her without crying and am ready to move forward without the guilt and hurt. Of course, she will always be a part of me but I have to let her totally go. It took me a little more than two years. I cannot tell you how long it will take for you to feel better but with time you will. For me, it took learning about reasons why things like this happen, more on the spiritual side rather than the medical side. Good luck and I wish you peace in the days to come.

Hi thisismyyear, sorry to hear about your loss.  After our second miscarriage, my wife experienced exactly what you are going through.  We ended up going for counselling which really helped.  While our third miscarriage was just as painful, we "recovered" much more quickly.  Wishing you all the best.
