DH's August 27th appt changed to Sept 4 - no biggie right? Just flights, hotel, etc etc...all this for a consult with the Urologist at Mount Sinai. We are already deep in it financially and we haven't even done/started anything yet. Very frustrated.

I'm sorry that you appointment was changed - very frustrating. Take comfort in the fact that you'll be meeting with one of the best in Canada at Mount Sinai :)

Thanks ladies. I do hope that we will have smoother sailing indeed! I did discuss our situation with the lady at the clinic and asked if there were any way that we could do a phone consult from our hospital, or if while DH is there, he could actually get some of the tests done (to make it worthwhile). We haven't heard back from her yet.
