I've been asking myself the same question for years... when you find the answer, let me know.

The reality that a new fur baby is really a consolation prize for my years of infertility is kicking my arse today. Sure in a few weeks I'll be excited again, but for now it just feels like getting the participant ribbon at track and field.

we got a puppy too. It does help, my Dear. But we all have our moments. It is very sad, that we have to treat our fur baby, as the only Baby we have. When I take him to dog care, I think about my twins kinder garden they could go in the future. Very sad memories and thoughts. They are chasing us... Big hugs

I am very thankful for my furbabies. They are so in tune to my emotions, even when I'm not showing them. They seem to know when I need them to be more snuggly than usual. They also seem to know when I just want to be left alone. It is true that our furbabies can lower our stress levels. Take care. And thank you for your kind words. Hugs!

Putting your life on hold for ivf is never a good idea. You are not getting a substitute, you are simply living your life and adding joy.

I failed the screen and then the test was normal. I guess its very common to fail the screen. Dont worry about it.

Hey- glad to hear and no worries if you do end up having GD- mine was diet controlled and it was not that bad - yes I was hungry and upset bc I wanted to eat like a wild boar but I still managed to make it thru (in one piece and somewhat smiling)

I slept it off most of the time bc I honestly was so ravenous hungry all of the time:) Hope your test comes back normal though - just say'n! xo

Lol. There was also Skeeter and brave. Those were the 'unique' Alberta names.

Sent a referral to my RE to get the ball rolling for FET at the end of the summer provided I get a job. How naive was I to think that I can get pregnant naturally after going through so many years of TTC last time.

Our beta results are officially in. We got another BFN this cycle. Our journey through IVF is over. Not sure where we go now. Taking some us time for the summer. Thank you all for your kind words. Best wishes and the stickiest baby dust to all of you who are continuing on! Hugs!

I had my IVF#2 postponed so I could have one removed in Nov, I attribute my failed IUIs to it being in the way, glad it was discovered because my recent IVF was successful! The removal part isn't bad, they have WAY better drugs at the hospital then they have at the clinic!!
