Community Status Updates

I need advice. I'm tenatively scheduled to start articling at a firm in February 2014 (they have to confirm the date). I was planning on doing a full IVF and if I became pregnant letting them know that I wouldn't be available until August 2014 (which is when the position was originally supposed to start) now I'm debating doing (1-3) egg retrevial, fertilzing and storing the embroys until I'm done articling. What do you guys think?

My very first IVF cycle was cancelled because I only have 1 egg. I was on a high dosage of puregon and menopur but they didn't work. I'm very sad and don't think I will ever make it to retrieval. I am devastated and mad that IVF is no longer an option. I guess I just wasn't meant to be a mother

A different protocol can make all the difference. My first cycle was cancelled. I did two more..each with low numbers and had my DD. It can happen.

Im seeing the doctor on tuesday to discuss other options but I dont think he will listen. There are only 2 protocols apparently. A review I read about my doctors office said that if your case is special they aren't much help. They only deal with general infertility.

Morning sickness...it has begun. Restless sleep last night...too hot...too cold...couldn't get comfy...was in a constant state of half asleep, half awake...woke up and have non-stop heartburn/nausea. Going with the flow.

I resisted accupunture for ages cuz I didn't believe in it. Then I got desperate & booked myself in. I said to the woman as I got on the bed I feel bad as I don't really believe in all this stuff. She said to me that it still works even if I don't believe in it. I think the same applies to you...what have you got to lose? Good luck - I hope it works for you :)

Trying to be patient until tomorrow before I call the clinic back again to make sure I get my IVF treatment offered for next cycle. I have a short cycle and am not suppressing, so time is ticking...21 days till my next AF...
