Changes in AF

Does it mean anything if you have a heavier AF than usual? Does it mean that my uterine lining was thicker than usual?

I've always had light periods - a day or maybe two then spotting for a day or two. Since my m/c in September, my periods have been a bit heavier but this month I have severe cramps and some clotting type bleeding. First time ever.

I wonder if it's anything I did to make a difference this month? I was trying different things to increase the bloodflow to my pelvic area - daily baby aspirin, yoga poses for that specific reason, etc. I also took 100 mg of prometrium daily from CD18 to CD26.

I think one of the things I did (or a combination of all of them) must have made a difference but I am wondering if it's a positive difference? We have unexplained infertility. So my question is:

Is a heavier period a sign of a healthier uterine lining?

Thanks,

Cycle after Hysteroscopy/Laproscopy

Three and a half weeks ago I had a laproscopy and hysteroscopy to check for endometriosis and resect a very tiny septum (the size of the septum was not evident prior to the surgery). Some very mild endometriosis was found (and cauterized).

My doctor prescribed CES (conjugated estrogen) to prevent possible scarring inside my uterus (the day after the surgery, counted as CD1, to CD25) and also provera (CD16 to CD25).

I noticed that during this post surgery cycle I had absolutely no cervical mucous. Is this a result of the hormone support? Is it because my body in some way viewed the surgery as a trauma and directed its resources away from reproduction this cycle? My husband and I were not trying to concieve during this post-surgery cycle, its more that its concerning because I am used to seeing certain patterns in my body and when they suddenly disappear its a bit disconcerting.

Beta didn't double

I just completed my second IVF and had my ET on Feb 15. My first beta was Feb 27 and it was 207. I went today to make sure it was doubling, and it didn't. It rose 63% to 326. I was told to return to the clinic in another 48 hrs for a repeat beta. I am so worried and concerned that this pregnancy will end in a miscarriage. What does it mean when the beta doesn't double? What are the chances that its not a healthy pregnancy?

Thank you in advance for you response.

cervix concerns

Hello
Was looking for some advice on cervix. I have had laser therapy to remove pre-cancerous cells on my cervix many years ago and I am finally pregnant after three rounds of IVF. I am now 23 weeks pregnant and no concerns with the cervix yet but I did have cervical mucus discharge. My questions is could the laser surgery have weakened my cervix and affect the pregnancy later on or am I just being anxious for nothing. My doctor does not seem concerned but I am because with the cervix there are no warning signs and I only see him once a month. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank You Tifff 42
