Trigger warning. This might be it for me. Heavy bleeding after severe cramping today 6w4d. I'm in pain. We'll see if it's still in there on my next u/s.
JacMacHang in there. It's a roller coaster.

Had an u/s today which should put me at 6w0d-6w4d based on natural conception. Gestational sac and yolk sac look good, IF I was less than 5 weeks! Non-viable, but they still want another u/s to confirm. This will be my 3rd m/c, I'm becoming an expert!
BerrySince I have one healthy child, I'm chalking this one up to chromosomes as I am 40. The one a few months ago was also suggestive of chromosomes, due to the large yolk sac. Even though that was from my 37 year old eggs in a FET. We have 3 more frozen embryos. If we only have one child though, we'll be happy.

Spotting and light cramping yesterday @ 6wk. Had u/s today and saw the gestational and yolk sacs. Still worried.
amazing graceLumnay, don't worry, I had spotting and cramping probably until 10 weeks. I know it is hard but try to stay calm. It will be fine.

t-birdJust saw your post now and I'm thinking about you and hoping that things are better today.

lumnayThanks for the support, everyone. This web site is my only source of support besides my husband as we haven't told anybody about this pregnancy, which may or may not take.
I'm still spotting but without cramps now. It seems that this is not uncommon during 1st trimester.

Just got home from my appointment, Dr. S said that there was no genetic or chromosomal issue with baby. It was a random thing that happened. The neuro tube did not close properly and as a result baby had anecephaly. Something that is not very common in IVF, according to him.
gandere1Big hugs AG. Thinking of you.

I'm interested in switching to the Victoria fertility Centre - has anyone good or bad experience with them? TIA
rollergirlVFC is awesome and I have my identical twins to prove that one! The only bad experience I have had is that they have really old magazines in the waiting room to read....
Jul 03 2015 01:25 AM
kristeen033Do you even need a referral to that clinic? For some reason I didn't think you did.
Jul 03 2015 12:08 PM
RedEmberThanks everyone. I believe you need a referral so that BC residents can get things like in person consults covered by provincial health care. I'm not a BC resident yet, but should be in a couple of months.

A good day; 6 kittens from the feral colony placed and paid my last mortgage payment.
mouseThanks - it was just a dream for a long time but the slog has paid off.

I had a fresh BFP which gave me my son. We had 4 frosties, 3 of which have resulted in a BFN. Is it worth bothering with the last frostie?
jojo10My first fet failed, next 2 worked, this last frostie was the same grade as my first failed transfer. All unmedicated fet's.
Jun 30 2015 08:52 PM
MearyFresh took but miscarried, single fet failed, double fet failed, double fet succeeded as a singleton (in progress)
Jun 30 2015 09:59 PM
RedEmberThanks @jojo10 and @Meary - wow @Meary that's amazing. I so wish we'd done two double FETs instead of a single and double as all the frosties would have been used up by now. By the time I'm ready to cycle again we should have moved to a different province so will need to come back to do the final FET.
