Update on appt and ultrasounds.

So since my last entry we met with our RE/OB on Aug 11. This was our first OB appointment with him. He did the usual family history, and asked about our GS previous births. Since she has gone overdue with all 4 of her children he said he won't let her pass 39 weeks with a IVF pregnancy. So he will induce at that point. So now we are looking at a EDD of Feb 22 instead of Mar 1. Also he wants her to stay on the progesterone till 36 weeks to prevent pre term labour. After that he did a quick ultrasound for his own peace of mind. Baby was dancing up a storm and looked great. We were 11w1d at that appointment. So we re-booked with him for Sept 29th when our GS is back in town for our 18-20 wk scan. We will see our midwife on Sept 24th.
 
On Aug 14 we had our IPS screening at 11w4d. Baby measured 56.0mm which is 12w1d. NT was 1.0mm and BPD was 17.1mm. HB of 150bpm. So all is FANTASTIC !! Next ultrasound is Sept 29 which we will be 18w1d. The tech was absolutely amazing and we are booked in with her for our next scan. She gave us her opinion of what she thinks the babies gender is. Guess we will have to wait for confirmation in 6 wks.
 
Our GS left to drive back to Alberta on Thursday after our scan. The countdown is on till her return. 5 weeks and 3 days.
