Ready to share!

Posted by amazing grace , 10 June 2015 · 2,668 views

I am finally ready to share my story with all of you and the one thing I wish for is that all you gain some hope from my experience. I do not wish for pity but wish for the inspiration to move forward. After three miscarriages and a failed IVF, switching my American clinic and gaining new perspectives at a Toronto clinic, I finally conceived in March thro...

I know it has been a while since I posted but have decided to read posts but not provide feedback. I do though want to congratulate all those ladies who have been successful and are currently pregnant. To those who are still trying, like me, I want to wish you strength, patience and an abundance of love.
As 2014, comes to an end, I have taken some time to...

TO ICSI OR NOT TO ICSI?

Posted by amazing grace , 02 November 2014 · 1,371 views

I have been reading a lot about ICSI. All my previous cycles included ICSI, it was mandatory, although my husband has no issues at all with his sperm. I was wondering, is this standard in all ivf procedures even though there are no sperm issues present. I read that most centers will do this to ensure that all embryos fertilize however I am debating if thi...

Forgiving but Never FORGETING

Posted by amazing grace , 02 November 2014 · 779 views

I Currently, I have been given the go ahead to select an egg donor. My septum was repaired, I am healing well, and I just got my first menstrual cycle in a little over a month. However, I can't help but feel very scared and nervous about the whole thing. Just starting to think about the ivf procedure, leaves me feeling anxious, heart palpitating and sweat...

More Surprises!

Posted by amazing grace , 25 August 2014 · 1,297 views

For those of you who have been following my story, today I had my Sonohystrogram with my new clinic, New Life. I met with Dr. Lee since he performed the procedure. I have to say that he was absolutely calming, nurturing pleasant and so caring. I met with him after the procedure to discuss findings. So as all of you know, I have been enduring two and a...

Where I am At Today!

Posted by amazing grace , 30 July 2014 · 715 views

It has been an excruciating past couple of weeks since my last ivf cycle that ended with a negative beta on July 14th. I have been going through all the emotions but managed to visit a clinic to get a second opinion. It went fairly well, although the RE was not very personable. I don't get intimated easily but I have to say, he really did intimate me. Alm...

Now what?

Posted by amazing grace , 15 July 2014 · 1,060 views

For those of you who are not aware, yesterday was my official beta day, NEGATIVE; but I already had a feeling since out of the five embryos none survived and the one we implanted was a so so. Yes, I know that a lot of babies have been born from not so great embryos but I still know deep down in my gut that this embryo was not going to result in a pregnanc...

IN GOD'S HANDS!

Posted by amazing grace , 03 July 2014 · 776 views

Today I am 4 days post embryo transfer. I just learned that the embryo that was transferred is an AB quality from my nurse. I asked because I felt that my doctor, although he told me was A quality was not telling me everything. I had a hunch he was leaving out the B part. Regardless, the other two embies did not make it to freeze and so we are hoping...
