Our son is doing well and thriving. Last weekend we celebrated the his first tummy to back rollover. He is babbling away and is a nice round baby.

Birth Announcement

Our son was born Friday, February 27 at 10:37 pm. He weighed in at 6 lbs, 14 oz and 20 inches long.

The delivery was fine and other than a shot of morphine at 6 pm, no other meds were needed. The placenta wouldn't detach so I needed an epidural in order for the doctor to get it out. We were discharged yesterday and he has lost a bit...

At the 38 week, 2 day checkup I am 100% effaced, 2-3 cm dilated and baby has entered into position. My doctor thinks I will go into labour in the next day or 2. If I haven't by Friday morning, he wants to me go to the hospital, be checked out by him, and if there is a room available, he will break the water to get me started.

37 Weeks

Well, so as of yesterday I am considered full term. So the little guy can arrive anytime within the next 3 weeks, or even 2 weeks after that as long as he remains stress free (then they induce).

My appointments are now weekly and nothing has changed. My OB tells me that next week he starts checking for dilation and effacement. I assumed it was...

I received the results of my 24 urine test. My protein was a bit higher than normal, but my OB isn't concerned. That was good to hear.

I also have tried to drink other liquids other than water and my weight has gone down 2 pounds in 2 weeks. I have switched to decaf iced tea. It quenches my thirst better and doesn't make me feel as...
