The new protocol concoction

Posted by LC3 , 11 June 2011 · 488 views

After what seemed like a long wait, my RE has provided me with a overview of my new protocol concotion for our 3rd IVF cycle.  After our conversation I was excited!  When our FET turned into yet another BFN, I dreaded doing another fresh cycle.  I think my head is in a good place again and ready to tackle another cycle.  DH and I both feel eager to tr...

Let the pill popping begin!

Posted by LC3 , 18 May 2011 · 362 views

Yesterday I came home to find the box I had been waiting for; all the supplements I'm planning to take for the  next 3 months (at least) and DH's too.  I consulted with a Naturopath and ordered all $700 worth of supplements recommended.  So right now I'm popping 9 pills a day, DH (bless his heart) is taking 13 a day!  I've learned...

The follow up

This IVF journey has been one crazy roller coaster ride so far!  After 2 fresh cycles ending in a BFN, and a recent FET ending in a BFN, what now?!?!Well today we had our follow up with our RE.  He is confident he can get us pregnant and, I have to say that, I love his enthusiasm!  I was always told to try something at least 3 times before...

BFN #3

Posted by LC3 , 01 April 2011 · 544 views

It's alway comforting to know the next step

Posted by LC3 , 07 December 2010 · 318 views

Today I had my telephone follow up with my RE.  I was so convinced that we would leave our frozen blast for another day and go ahead with a fresh cycle.  Funny how an RE can change your mind.  :D My RE addressed my worries, answered my questions, and assured me that I'm still young and have some good egg producing years ahead of me.  He also said that...

This is my first personal blog entry.  I hope that putting my thoughts and feelings into words will help me look ahead. It's another BFN! I just don't understand!  Everything went so well this cycle; the meds didn't phase me, ER wasn't painful at all this time, 6 eggs were retrieved and ALL 6 fertilized, we transfered 2 very good lo...
