Other than anything baby or IVF related, what are you grateful for today?

I'm going to say... my DH. Today we celebrate our first anniversary. I've had some horrible past relationships and I am just so incredibly happy to find a person who loves an adores me and always wants the best for us.

Too many to count/write. But always important to reflect on daily I think.

Today I'm especially grateful for the sunshine! It's something small but it brings a smile to my face. :D

Today? Painkillers. I had a headache and after watching a program about someone with a brain tumour the other night, my imagination ran away with me!

Thank you!

LOL, wish I could... with placenta previa we're in a 'holding' position on that one!

Happy anniversary! I hope you and your DH have a lovely day today and reflect on how lucky you are to have each other every day!

I'm grateful to live in a Country where I can freely express myself without fear of persecution, where women have the right to work, vote, and speak up. I'm grateful for my family and friends. I'm grateful for plenty to eat, clean safe drinking water, a warm place to curl up at night. So many things!

Honestly, my son, he was very patient with me while I worked on my book this morning(giving me peace and quiet to focus on my work), and he wanted to watch movies with me since it was raining outside. I am so exhausted today, and after being such a monster yesterday, he's trying really hard to be good and pleasant today. I really appreciate that he's trying so hard to make today a good day!

and, to my husband, because he's been going out of his way lately to make every day special, and he never gets sick of hearing about baby stuff, even if it makes him a couple minutes late for work! LOL

p.s. Happy anniversary.

Can I have more than one?
My cats. Especially my tonk. I love everything about him, even his bad breath!
It's hard to be sad when a cat tries to sit on your head and purr you to death. :Emoticons0096:

I am grateful that I have 4 close friends that I grew up with. We talk and hang out all the time even after 25 years! Not something you see everyday!

That today on my first day back after being off work for 2 1/2 weeks, my desk was totally covered with happy birthday streamers, gifts, cards, balloons and even a pinata (sp?)! I work with some amazing nurses!!!

A little history

Me 36, DH 35
Unexplained plus male factor
TTC - on and off for 8 years, no kiddies to date

2002 - Laproscopy, big cyst, no endo but strange how ovaries were stuck to pelvic wall. First RE molested me. ARG.

Divorced asshole husband, mom died, and had thyroid removed somewhere in middle of that. Bad year.

Remarried nice guy in 2009. Yeah!

Early 2009 - Tried Clomid with no luck for 6 months

Nov 2009 - trying first round of IVF with ICSI, biopsy done, opting to skip IUIs due to low percentage chance, motility issues, maternal age

Jan 4 - First Beta BFP!!
Jan 6 - Second Beta - Doubling normally
Jan 31 - First U/S - ONE healthy bean 156bpm
Sept 11 '10 - Baby Due
7 pm 8/9/10 - Little Violet Ann arrived, 5lbs 9 oz @ 35weeks
