My IVF nurse called me back. We talked about a few things. She told me that she was going to call in a birth control script to my pharmacy. We scheduled a "Mock Embryo Transfer" for this Friday at 8:30 am. She said that I would most likely start injections the first of May. She also said that I would have to watch my body temp and make sure that it doesnt get too high. I had a trip scheduled for the end of May for Florida, but she said that about my body temp. No question about it I am cancelling my trip. My mom and I were going to go but she can go with my dad instead. She said that I would have to quit tanning and stop Jazzercise for about a month too. She said that the injections would make my ovary swell up real big and that with all the jumping and moving around we do in jazzercise could cause my ovary to twist, but that I dont have to stop all that until the end of April or beginning of May. Wow! Lots to think about!! I am a nervous wreck!! She said that Egg Retrieval/Embryo Transfer is scheduled for the Week of May 16th. I guess I will just keep letting my vacation time build up and bank it. I will probably need it later anyway. She said after the Mock Embryo Transfer that the dr will get a calendar together for me and decide on what protocol of meds we are going to use then she and I will sit down and discuss the do's and dont's. I guess things will start moving quickly now. All my thoughts are racing thru my head.
